Chapter XIX: Kiss

Third Person's P. O. V

"Poor Mingyu, he was so embarrassed!" Wendy said while laughing.

"Yeah, what a pity!" Jisoo said, shaking her head in disbelief.

"Guys! Let's go have a drink to celebrate our win!" Seulgi said excitedly.

"I'm in!" Bam and Jungkook exclaims.

"Count me in!" Kai, Jisoo, Wendy, Jimin, and Taehyung said in unison. They looked at each other and laugh.

"We'll go with you" Irene said sternly.

"Yeah sure..." Jisoo said dismissively. Irene just clicks her tongue. They all looked at Liam, waiting for his response.

"What?" he asked, confused on why they're all looking at him.

"Are you coming with us?" Jisoo asks.

"Where?"

"Dude, where's your brain? You've been spacing out" Wendy said.

"Oh uhm, sorry. I'll come with you guys" Liam said with a small smile.

"Me too" a voice behind them butts in.

"What? No!" Kai scolds. Jennie frowns.

"Why?"

"There are many perverts there and I don't want them eyeing my sister like a prey!"

"Then I'll wear something that isn't revealing!" Jennie said and rolls her eyes.

"N—"

"And it's not like you guys will let them come near me, right?" Jennie said as a matter of fact. Kai inhaled deeply. Jisoo then taps his shoulder.

"You can come with us" Jisoo said and everyone looks at her then to Jennie.

"Thank God!" Jennie sighs in relief. "I also need some drink after all the work, you know?" she said and rolled her eyes

"Fine!" Kai gives up and just starts to walk away, followed by the others.

"You're coming with me" Chaeng said and pulled Liam on the wrist. Liam just followed her and goes to the passenger seat. Jennie with Irene, Jungkook with V, Jimin with Jisoo, Seulgi with Wendy and Kai on his own.

"You better not drink too much" Chaeng warns.

"I've always known my limits, Chaeng. I just didn't expect everything to turn out like that" Liam said and sighs.

Chaeng pressed the answer button and put it on speaker.

"What?" she asked.

"The usual place, okay?" Jisoo said on the other line.

"Okay" she replies. All of them drove to the bar which is owned by Irene's family.

"Finally, after a long time of not drinking, I'll be tasting it again!" Seulgi said excitedly as they all got inside the bar. The bouncer didn't stopped them when they saw Irene with them.

Jennie covers her nose when she got greeted by smokes and sweaty people as she tries not to get touched by them. She closed her eyes when a drunk guy was about to bump on her but she only felt a hand on her wrist as she got pulled.

"Watch where you're going, man!" she opens her eyes and saw Liam glaring at the guy who only bows his head at them.

"Are you okay?" Liam asks worriedly. She felt her heart thumping loudly and she doesn't know if it's because of how close they are, or it's just the loud beat of the music. She then nods her head.
