Chapter XXX: Birthday

It's been three days since we last talked to Chaeng, and so far everything's going well.

ring! ring!

I rolled over my bed to reach for my phone to answer the call. I'm at our house since it's weekend...finally though. Us students, weekends are supposed to be relaxing for them, especially for me.

I rolled back and continued watching my show. Today's my lucky d-

"Where the hell are you?!"

Or not.

"What the hell Kim Jisoo?! My eardrums almost broke because of your damn shout!" I yelled back at after she yelled.

"I don't care! Today's my cousins birthday, idiot! Where are you already?!"

Oh shit.

"Oh sht I forgot!" I heard her laugh sarcastically while I hastily put on my casual clothes and sprinting out of the house.

"Of course you did!" she groans.

"Shut up, I'm on my way!" I exclaimed and end the call as I got inside my car and drove my way to the place.

ring! ring!

"What the hell?" I mumbled as I connect my phone to my car and answer the call.

"I said I'm on my way"

"Don't forget the party poppers" I glanced at the caller ID.

"Yeah yeah! Bye!" I said shortly and end the call.

At the venue...

"Stop that!" Irene scolds Seulgi and Jisoo who keeps on playing with the balloons.

Seulgi immediately stops, except for Jisoo who held the airway of the balloon right in front of the other girl's face and let's the air blow to her face.

"Yah!" Seulgi exclaimed, wiping her face. She glares at Jisoo and tackles the latter who's laughing her ass off.

"You're saliva splashed on my face you idiot!" Seulgi groans, choking Jisoo.

Irene sighs and facepalm herself in disbelief. Chaeng appears beside her and taps her shoulder.

"I'll handle them" she said. Irene raised a brow, watching the girl walks to the two.

"Hey girls" Chaeng smiled sweetly, that made the two stop. "Are you girls going to help us? Or do you want to blow all those balloons only with your own air until your cheeks will get cramps?" she said, still with that innocent smile except for her blank eyes.

The two scurried to their places and starts to finish their task; Jisoo holding the balloon while Seulgi pumps in the air.

"That's what I thought" Chaeng mumbles before going back inside to check on the cake that was getting baked in the oven.

While everyone was busy with their task, Liam was inside the kitchen. They were at the Kim's mansion, by the way. If anyone is wondering where the birthday girl is, well she's out with Kai and Ella.

The little girl was all pouty and whiny all day that Jennie had to take a shower in a hurry just to make her little sister stop whining. Kai also had to accompany them.

Jennie was even confuse why he's joining them since he isn't fond of going out especially if it's weekend. Well-he has to, so that the others can prepare the surprise.
