Chapter XXXIV: Field Trip

Third Person's P. O. V

So today's the day that they'll be going to their field trip. There are four class and each class had there own bus.

The others are already inside their assigned buses while Jisoo and the others are helping loading the donations inside the compartment of the bus.

"Where are the others?" Jisoo asked. Bam grunts while putting the box and pushing it to the side.

"Almost everyone are inside already, except for us and some students that helped and also the officers" he answers. Jisoo looked around and noticed that one person isn't there.

"Hey, have you seen Jennie?" she asked Kai this time who's walking to them. He looks around before shrugging.

"I don't know. I haven't seen her since earlier" he said, putting the last box inside. The bus driver then closes the compartment. 

"Irene, have you seen Jennie?" Irene creased her brows in confusion, also looking around. But then it faded away.

"Over there..." the confusion on her face came back, so Jisoo looked to where she was pointing at. Her face showed the same emotion when she turned around. "...but she's with—"

"Hanbin?" she spoke, tilting her head with a frown, catching the two guys' attention. The two were at the far corner, where no one can see them. It looks like they were talking about something serious.

Jennie shakes her head, with her hands waving in front of them, as if she's dismissing the topic before walking away with a slight frown. Hanbin also has an upset and defeated look while shaking his head before following suit.

"Okay, get to your bus now everyone! We'll be leaving in ten!" one of the officers announced. The four who witnessed the show, exchanged glances before getting inside to their assigned buses.

As soon as they placed their bags above the compartment, they took their seats, which is near the door.

Jimin, Liam, Chaeng, and Jisoo, we're on the first row which is at the front. Bam, Wendy, Irene, and Seulgi are on the second row. Then Jungkook, Taeh, and Kai were on the third row.

Jennie struggles to put her baggage in the compartment which was noticed by Liam. He immediately stood up and helped the latter who flinched on her place, feeling a hand graze on hers.

"I can handle it" she mutters. Liam didn't utter a word and just continue helping. After that, he stared at the girl who was avoiding his gaze.

Murmurs and whispers were heard seeing the two.

"Phew! I thought I was late!" a voice snapped Liam out of his reverie. Mingyu bumps on his shoulder to go to the back with his friends.

"Okay, settle down, everyone. I'm going to call out your name for the attendance" Jennie spoke, clearing her throat. Liam then sat back down, his friends snickering at the situation.

"What a bummer" Jisoo mumbles.

"Kim Jisoo"

"Here!"

"Park Chaeyoung"

"Present"

"Liam Manoban" Liam's ear perked up, hearing his name being called out again by the brunette. Even if it's just for the attendance, he can't helped but to be happy.

"I'm here" he grins. Jimin nudge him with a light chuckle. After calling out everyone, Jennie then proceeds to sit beside their prof, Mrs. Lee.
