Third Person's P. O. V
Three Years Later...
It was four in the afternoon at Seoul South Korea. Two kids are seen at the playground playing along with the other children. One of the two kids has a brown hair that looks like more like a brunette, and the Sam goes to the other kid.
"Joaquin! Lucas! Don't go too far boys!" a woman calls. The brown haired boy with doe eyes looks back at his mother and grins while the other one just giggles while playing soccer. The woman let out a sigh as she fans herself due to feeling tired.
"Here." a bottle of water was handed down to her by a man.
"Thanks." she smiles. The man smiled back as he sat beside her and watched the kids play around.
"Time flies so fast, right?" the woman smiles.
"You're right. Can you imagine? Two years ago we were just playing games for our sports fest and now we're right here, watching kids play around by themselves." Hanbin smiles, a soft look on his face.
Jennie chuckles, "And a lot of things had already passed."
Hanbin grins. "I still thank you for everything though, for accepting me and giving me a second a chance." Jennie smiles,
"It's all in the past, Hanbin. Everything has changed. We let go of the past in order for us to move on and prepare ourselves for what lies in the future for us and our kids." Hanbin turns his head to Jennie. He can see that there's still a glint of pain in the latter's eyes but he knows that Jennie is trying her best to fully heal.
"Don't worry, Jenjen. I know we can do it." he assures, patting her head. Jennie sent him a small smile and looks back to where the kids were.
"Agh! That nickname." Jennie rolls her eyes playfully which earned a laugh from the man. "It's already late, we should go." Jennie adds.
"You're right, Jenjen." Hanbin teased.
"Enough with that or I'll punch you." Jennie threatens. Hanbin laughs and calls out the kids.
"Lucas! Joaquin! Time to go home!" Jennie starts cleaning up the foods they brought with the help of Hanbin.
Not so far from the two, the two kids didn't hear the call.
Joaquin accidentally kicks the ball hard which causes the ball to roll towards the street. Lucas chases for it, not knowing there was a bicycle coming towards it. Lucas stops and picks up the ball, when he turns around he was stunned, seeing the cyclist screaming at him to movie away.
"Lucas!" Joaquin exclaimed, scared for the other boy.
The cyclist was already near, when a hand suddenly picks up Lucas from the sidewalk. The cyclist almost lost his balance and glared at the man who held a scared Lucas in his arm.
"Hey! You should watch where your kid is going, man!" the man glared at the guy who suddenly got scared for his life.
"Dont blame the kid. You're the one who's going full speed at a children's park!" the man growls, gently caressing Lucas' back. "You better leave or I will call the authorities for your violation." he adds with a deadly voice. The cyclist gulps nervously and immediately leaves.
Joaquin went to them and holds the man's pants as he looks up to his cousin. The man looks down and seeing the kid has made a gentle smile appear on his face.
"Are you okay, Lucas?" Joaquin asks cutely. The man gently puts Lucas down as he kneels down to leave with the two kids. Lucas nods his head as his eyes starts to fill with tears. The man then gently caress his chest to soothe him.
