Chapter III: Taehyung

Jennie's P. O. V

I'm here inside the SC office, reading some of the students complaints and reports about bullying and stuffs, but my mind is not cooperating. It keeps on thinking about what flashes in my head, when I saw that guy in the gym.

Why was he staring at me? His eyes showed loneliness and sadness at the same time. He even cried! And I don't know why I was concerned.

It was very strange because while I was looking at him, it feels like he wants to say something. I felt a sudden pain in my head while looking at his teary eyes but I didn't mind it that time.

Even though I saw him cried, he still smiled at me....sweetly? But I immediately left when I saw him with his friends and when my head started to ache. Irene unnie was the one who brought me here because of my sudden headache.

While my head was aching, a sudden image flashed in my mind, I saw the same guy in my dream but his face was still blurry, I can only hear his voice and see his eyes.

I love you so much, please always remember that.

That was what the guy said to me as he kissed my forehead. I didn't noticed that there were tears already coming out from my eyes as I clutched my chest. Why does it hurt? Who is that guy? Who is he in my life? And why is he saying he loves me? I didn't had a lover before I got into an accident, and if I had, then who was he?

I took a deep breath and wiped my tears that I didn't know that was still coming out. I just shrugged the thought off, maybe it was just a painful movie or drama that I forgot and that I'm starting to remember it now.

I just continued on what I was doing earlier while waiting for Irene unnie to come back.

Irene's P. O. V

"I saw you earlier, how are you?" I asked.

He heaved a deep sigh and smiled weakly. "I'm good" he said. We're here at the school's garden.

"You know it's not your fault, right? It was all a misunderstanding." I said softly.

"Yeah, but if I only explained it early, she wouldn't have gotten into an accident that night." he said with pain and sadness all over his face.

"Don't blame yourself, she'll remember you soon" I said and caressed his hand.

"Thanks, noona. But I'm not expecting anymore. If she can't remember me, I'll just watch and protect her from afar." he said as he looks at me with tears starting to form in his eyes.

"Why won't you let us tell her that you're her boyfriend?" I asked.

"I was. I'm not her boyfriend anymore, she broke up with me before she got into an accident." he said and chuckles wryly. I just sighed.

"I understand, but you also have to remember that it wasn't your fault, it was all just a setup for her to break up with you." I said. He started to cry that made me sad and hug him. I then rubbed his back to soothe him.

"Don't cry. Everything's gonna be okay." I said gently and look up to prevent my tears from falling.

Wendy's P. O. V

I am here, near the school's garden. I can't help but to tear up, watching my cousin cries on Irene unnie's shoulder is hurting me. Fate is really playing with him, but I hope in the end, fate will let him be happy. He's gone through so much already.
