CHAPTER ~ 38

As the things unfolded Nandini stood there silently hearing the 2 pillars of her life fighting among themselves. Tears uncontrollably escaped her eyes. She felt so weak on her legs that she could barely stand on her feet. Every word Navya spoke to her was too shocking. Nandini tried to move but it was like she felt stuck, stuck in the moment which happened just right in front her eyes.

"That you have already forgotten dii. And Ishi ma treated her like her own daughters because we were a liability or else Raman Uncle wouldn't have opened a company in name of Nandini but for you. But we were nothing. There's nothing for us. They even took our father's wealth they have cheated us and so is Nandini. And they died because they deserved to."
Said Navya

And this time it was Nandini who slapped her.

Navya including everyone was shocked would be an understatement.

"How dare you? How dare you Navya.. You cursed me, I didn't uttered a word but Amma and Appa.. Not a word against them Navya not a word.. How could you speak so much of venom for our parents. They treated you like your own daughter and all you see is how much wealth and property they left for you. For your kind information the Murthy enterprises isn't on my name it was on Amma's name but when you and dii came he made it all 3 of us it's owner. He wanted to open a company for Priya dii. But she only denied because she wanted to take this company further work here she never wanted money to create trouble for us. She wanted us together.. And for you he wanted to open a dance academy seeing your passion for dance he wanted to gift you but before that he wanted you to be a trained professional.. but before he could take it any further he....

Nandini stopped abruptly and took a deep sigh continued again..

Anyways we were working on it, we wanted to gift you on your birthday it was a surprise. I wouldn't have told you all this but I never knew you had so much of venom for us. And now i Know why you have so much of hatered for me.. because when you couldn't accept my parents how you will accept me.. I.. I hate to say this.. as much as I'm hurt I.. I just can't express in words.. I treated you like my sister my best friend."
Said Nandini

"As if I trust you Nandini."
Said Navya.

"Navya have you seriously lost it? What the fucking hell you're talking? Are you out of your mind?"
Asked Cabeer

"Oh now you're asking? Do you even know what you're doing except being a puppet to Manik?"
Said Navya bluntly

And everyone was shocked would be an understatement..

Before anyone could have reacted Aman bluntly asked Navya to go to her room.

"Navya enough! That's enough for today.. In your room now.."
Said Aman

And without uttering any other word she went back to her room and locked herself.

While Aman took Priya who was broken and shattered.

While Manik stood there helpless for Nandini. He wanted to hold her and tell her that he was there for her but he didn't wanted to leave Cabeer either.. He knew as much as Nandini needed him Cabeer needed him too..

And although Cabeer was sinking in his pain he knew what Manik was going through..

"Manik take Nandini to her room. She really needs you right now."
Said Cabeer devoid of every emotion.

"But Cabeer you.."
Before Manik could have said anything Cabeer cut him in between.

"Manik I'm fine. But look at Nandini she really needs you. Please be with her."
Said Cabeer.
