CHAPTER ~ 33

Next day was a new day for Nandini and Manik, as they were probably about to work together and going to start a new beginnings to their lives. On one hand Nandini was sleeping peacefully while on the other hand Manik had no sleep in his eyes. All he was thinking about the fact detective told him about. He was feeling mixed emotions all of sudden, he was angry, he was sad, he was anxious. He was sitting on the couch, and he slept while thinking about it.
Soon Cabeer woke up, and he saw that Manik was sleeping on the couch, and he knew Manik didn't slept whole night, but he couldn't understand the reason that why he couldn't sleep. As everything was going according to him and he was actually in a good mood. But then what suddenly went off. And for a fact he knew something went terribly wrong.

While on the other hand Priya woke up, fastly did her morning chores and till then Aman too woke up and a while later wrapping up her stuff, Priya went to kitchen prepared coffee for Nandini and went to her. Navya who was already up greeted Priya. And Priya strides towards Nandini and started waking her up lovingly.

Nandini who was in deep slumber woke up few minutes later and her beautiful face adorned an adorable smile when she saw Priya waking her up.

"Good Morning Dii."
Said Nandini in a sleepy voice slowly opening her eyes.

"Good Morning Angel. Now get up and get ready. It's your first day to office. And I'm sure you don't want to be late? Hmm?"
Said Priya

"I second Priya."
Said Manik entering Nandini's room.

Seeing him Nandini sat down with a jerk. And without sparing even a glance to Manik she straight away went to washroom.

Manik felt something weird. As if Nandini ignored him. He found amiss. As if something wrong.

"Angel your coffee.."
Said Priya.

"I'll have it later dii. See you at the breakfast table."
Said Nandini from washroom.

"This girl naa.. Manik where are you lost? Get ready. And what's wrong haven't you slept?
Asked Priya.

"Uh nothing. You know new place stuff."
Said Manik

"Ohh. Get ready now. See you at breakfast table in 20 minutes. "
Said Priya.

"Yeah sure."
Said Manik.

10 minutes later both Manik and Nandini were ready. But before reaching office Manik wanted to speak to Nandini so he went to her room and saw her combing her long, black and shiny hairs. Nandini was about to tie them, but then Manik interrupted..

"Don't.. don't tie them. "
Said Manik standing behind her and looking at her through mirror.

But Nandini fastly tied her hairs.

"Manik, what are you doing here?"
Asked Nandini without making any eye contact.

Manik who could clearly see that something was wrong as she was not even looking at him.

"Exactly what is wrong Nandini?"
Asked Manik.

"N-Nothing."
Said Nandini turning other side.

Manik who now couldn't take her ignorance held her arm and turned her towards him. And stared right into her eyes angrily.

"Manik, what are you doing? Just leave me."
Said Nandini trying to get out of his hold still not looking at him.

Manik now held her boty the arms tightly and made her look at him.

"Nandinii."
Said Manik angrily.

"Manik, leave me. You're hurting me."
Said Nandini finally looking at him with tears in her eyes.
