Chapter ~ 29 ~ AASHIYAANA

Someone entered in Nandini's room while she was sleeping peacefully. The person sat down beside her, caressed her forehead and then kissed her softly. And then he instantly came out of the room. As he came out he uncovered his head and it was none other than 

Manik Malhotra

And looking here and there, he instantly ran back to his room. And very quietly he laid down beside Cabeer, and silently closed his eyes in order to sleep, but sleep was far away, so he opened his eyes and what he saw infront of his eyes was not less than any nightmare. As he opened his eyes he saw Cabeer staring at him and smirking.

"Uhh!! Cabeer? What the hell? Why are you staring at e like a creep?"
asked Manik getting up from the bed.

"Mr. Malhotra!! What do you think? That you're very smart?"
asked Cabeer sarcastically.

"Ofcourse! I'm very smart. Don't you know? Cabeer why you even ask such stupid questions? Come on bro you can do better."
said Manik.

"Where were you?"
asked Cabeer without wasting any time.

"Cabeer! I'm right in front of you. Why will I go anywhere else?"
said Manik not making any eye contact.

"Oh really!!"
said Cabeer.

"Y-Yess ofcourse!"
said Manik.

"Manik I saw you going. So please now confess."
said Cabeer.

"Okay fine. Yes I went there. I wanted to see her that's it. Whether she is sleeping properly or not. That's it."
said Manik.

"Ohh my Manik Malhotra se Manik Majnu bann gaya!! Woah not bad bro."
said Cabeer.

'What? Majnu?"
said Manik.

"Yes ofcourse. You just went to see her whether she's fine or not. Whether she's safe or not. Yeh pyaar nahi toh kya hai Manik Sir.!"
said Cabeer.

"You know what just shut up Cabeer."
said Manik and lied down and took over the blanket over his face while Cabeer smiled.

CABEER'S POV

Manik, no matter whatever you say, truth doesn't need any words to convey it can be felt. You're in love with Nandini which you're yourself not aware of. I can see the way you've changed since the time nandini has came, how from being rude you're very soft and loving and protective for her. I have seen that in your eyes. You're afraid to name that, but truth always prevails.
God!! Please give some brain to my idiot friend. Please Please!! he actually needs that.

MANIK'S POV

Nandini. This name has somewhat became important to me. Yes, I do care for her. Yes, I want her to be happy and safe. But Love? Manik Malhotra can never fall in love. Nandini is an angel and I am her truly Monster Manik, who can care for her and protect her, but I can never fall for her, I can never love her. NEVER EVER. I don't know, why I feel to be there for her, maybe it's her innocence which is pulling me towards her. Well that is the fact she is really naive and innocent like she literally threatened that man. And that is why people like Arjun and Anisha take advantage of it and people like Nandini are always left hurt and shattered at the end. But I won't let Nandini remain shattered, I will HEAL her. She will be the same Nandini which I met. The Mini Monster Nandini.  

And thinking about Nandini, very soon sleep took over Manik and he slept peacefully after a long long time

Next Day almost everyone woke up quite early in the morning as they all were suppose to shift at Aman's place. It was Nandini who was still sleeping because of medicines, and none of them disturbed her, they let her take her own good time, as it was better that she was sleeping. As she was in peace at least, waking up means coming back to reality, coming back to real world which only meant pain for her. Often for temporary happiness what we do is ignore reality, ignore what is truth but we forget that we live in reality, some day or the other one has to accept it and go through it, because suffering is very personal, none can stop, none can reduce, one has to suffer their part of pain, someone can be there to give us some relief but they can't stop the person from feeling that pain. As far as we live in reality, we will be more happier. Accepting some sudden change in life is not easy as it seems, it is difficult very difficult, but every change, every happening brings something positive with it. Learn to accept them happily and you'll be happier always.
