Chapter 16 ~ OFF TO MANGALORE

Finally their trip to Mangalore started. For few minutes they were sitting silently looking out of their window. But how can Cabeer stay silent for long. And since these days he was hitting on MaNan instead of Navya so to change the silent environment Cabeer turned on the music and it played a romantic number "Tip Tip Barsa PaNi" (I know it's quite cliche. But couldn't think of anything else. 😂😂) hearing the song MaNan snapped up shared an eyelock as it reminded them of their morning shower scene, the flashback of what happened in the washroom their proximity, the eyelock, the comfort they had at that momemt in the shower came rushing back to their mind disturbing their sanity. Making them conscious of the other one's presence took them to another level and as a result in unison they said
"Cabeer turn off the music"

Hearing them CaVya were startled for a second as both said the same thing for the very first time. Since the day they've met it was for the first time they said the same thing that too at the same time. For the first time they agreed and seeing their expressions in the mirror Cabeer smirked because for a fact he knew that there's something which he has missed. Something has happened which has made them so restless, suddenly so conscious.

"Okay okay. Relax. I can here if you'll say normally also. I'm not deaf you see."
Said Cabeer giving them a tight lipped smile.

But still they were restless enough looking here and there but not towards each other. And seeing them like that Cabeer came up with a mischievous idea and he asked Nandini

"Nandini. I heard that you have a boyfriend in Mangalore? Tell us something about him ? Will you introduce us I mean me and Manik( a little loudly 😂) to him or not? So tell us something about him about you guys? Like how you two met and fell for each other, you know?"

And saying this Cabir smirked as he noticed Manik's changing expressions from normal it soon turned into anger and he clutched his fists angrily to control his anger as he knew Cabeer asked this question deliberately to provoke him. But Cabeer noticed his face which was now Red as Tomato in anger.

"Yes Yes please enlighten him with some love lessons as he needs it the most. Hai na cabeer?"
Said Manik eyeing Navya.

Hearing him Cabeer smirked even more.

"Haan toh obviously everyone needs love in their life. Everyone just can't fake it like you."
Said Nandini

'And Cabeer I will surely introduce you guys to him for sure. His name is Arjun and we were in same school. So since then....'
As Nandini was about to speak further but was interrupted by Manik
'Uhh Cabeer can you please play some music. I'm actually getting bored. You know I'm least interested in knowing someone's so called love life.'
Manik said rolling his eyes.

And Nandini knew that this super lovely taunt was for her. Realising that he was taunting her she gave him an angry glare and said.
'As if everyone is dying to tell you. And also the ones who have just faked their own love life what they'll understand about others'
Said Nandini. And last line she said in a quite low tone but loud enough that Manik heard it

And this made him furious. And he said
'What do you mean haan? You peanut.'

'Khud ko dekha hai kabhi you eiffel tower.'
Said Nandini in equal anger.

Before could have said something more which could have lead to an arguement  Cabeer turned on the music on the full volume for a while and hearing the loud music MaNan came back to earth from their arguement land and sat quietly on their sides. Few minutes later Cabeer turned down the volume of the music and smirked seeing them sitting silently yet angrily looking out of the window.

Few hours later

After driving for few hours everyone decided to stop at nearby dhaba so that they can get some food and rest and hence they stopped at a dhaba where all of them sat and decided to order some food while turn by turn went to washroom. Soon they asked for the menu to order something.
