Chapter 17 ~ THE BREAK

Even after Manik gave her the reason the way he reacted but Nandini wasn't convinced. She knew there's something more to this. Something that he was still hiding behind this fake reason . He didn't knew that if he knew Nandini's inner turmoils then she wasn't even less. She read his eyes which spoke volume about his inner turmoils which he was hiding. And now she was determined enough that she'll find out the truth no matter what. Here Nandini was lost in her thoughts thinking about Manik and there Manik went far away thinking that Nandini was following him silently but when he couldn't take her silence he turned around to see her but he found no one and he was shocked because he thought Nandini must be following him and he fanatically started searching for Nandini. He thought maybe nandini was playing on some prank on him so he started shouting her name and he called for her for the zillion times but there was no response. And this scared Manik. He started running here and there in order to find her but all his attempts went in vain as there was no sign of Nandini. Dejectedly he broke down over there only and said to himself

"Nandini where are you? It's all my fault I shouldn't have left your hand. Why Why everytime because of my stupidity you have to suffer. But not this time. I can't sit like this. She must be so scared. I need to find Nandini. Yess I'll find her. She must be at that place only where I left her. I should go there and check."
And with this Manik left to find Nandini.

On the other hand Nandini who was lost in her own world. She looked up suddenly to look for Manik but she found no one. She looked around and started calling for him. She actually started shouting but there was no response. Finding herself alone she got scared and started crying. She didn't knew what to do. She didn't knew where Manik disappeared suddenly leaving her all alone in this forest. She couldn't understand where to go and what she must do so she silently sat on the rock kept beside a tree and was continuously shedding tears and murmured to herself.

"Manik how can you do this to me? You again left me all alone and now in this forest? It's all my fault that I trusted you again. Why ayyappaa why? "

Here Manik was going crazy because he couldn't find Nandini so he decided to go back in the direction from where he came after covering few kilometres he came back at the location from where he actually left but couldn't find anyone. As he was about to move further he heard someone's crying voice and paying more attention to the voice from the direction it was coming he found that the voice was coming from somewhere in the right direction. He took few steps and there he found Nandini sitting on a rock and continuously crying. Seeing her crying so much his heart broke in million pieces right at the moment. Guilt dawn upon him for leaving her alone in this forest. Without wasting any more second he ran towards her and called for her. Hearing her name Nandini became conscious and found that Manik was running towards her. Seeing him her eyes twinkled and she stood up from the rock. As soon as she took a step Manik reached and hugged her tightly and even Nandini didn't protested instead she hugged him back and again started crying. Hearing her Manik broke the hug cupped her face and wiped her tears from her cheeks but still Nandini was continuously crying incoherently. To calm her down Manik hugged her tightly and started whispering near her ear to calm her down.

"Shhh shhh Nandini just relax. I'm here now. Just calm down I won't leave you now I promise. I will always protect you. Please just stop crying. Just relax."

Hearing his sweet words Nandini started to calm down slowly and soon her cries stopped and she was stable now. And again hugged him back tightly. Hugging him Nandini said
