I rolled my luggage into Josh's apartment. I never really went over to his place before yet; everything was so familiar. The blue walls with black outlines, the grey sofas surrounding a black coffee table. He really made his place in Korea just like his penthouse in Singapore. Or I guess it's the other way around since this was his permanent residence. Although it was slightly smaller, it was still humongous in my eyes. I walked over to the first room I could see and opened the door, starting to explore the house while Josh locked his apartment door and carried my other luggage. As I went through each and every room, I came to the third and final room which had blue walls as well, but with glowing stars in the ceiling. Intrigued, I entered and observed the room in awe. It looked really beautiful with a queen-sized bed in the middle and beanbags in a corner. Beside the beanbags were cupboards and drawers and the other side of the room had 2 two-door cupboards. As I moved further into the room to explore more, I heard the door shut behind me. Startled, I turned around but couldn't see anything due to the darkness. The only light I had was from the stars above which wasn't much.
"Josh? You there?" I asked but didn't receive a response. Out of the blue, I felt a force push me onto the bed. The person who used that force then pinned me down and I looked up. Although it was pretty dark, the light from the stars above was enough for me to see my smirking boyfriend. "Yah! What do you think you are doing?"
"Looks like you really like my room. I thought you would want to stay in separate rooms but I don't mind us sharing one if you'd like." Josh then started coming closer to my neck.
"Hey, s-stop," I managed to fight out of his grip and place my hands on his chest to prevent him from moving further. "Uhm... well... you don't have protection... right?" I started blushing and looking away from his eyes. It took a while before Josh started laughing and let me go, turning and falling to my side.
"I was just kidding, love. You're so serious, I can't-" He continued laughing maniacally and I sat up, glaring daggers at him.
"Yah! How can you joke about something like this?"
"Well, we could do it for real if you want. There are condoms in the drawer the-"
"JOSH!" I took one of the pillows and started hitting him. He just laughed non-stop again and soon I looked at him and started laughing too. After a while, he pulled me down and hugged me.
"I'm so happy that we are living together now. I can't wait to tease you till the end of time," Josh whispered his breath in my ear.
"Well then, be prepared to face the consequences of it as well."
"Don't worry, my lips are ready for your sweet punishment," he said with a sly smile as I just rolled my eyes. I then told him to get up so that I can unpack and we could have dinner together. He finally let me go and we went on to do what we were supposed to.
After arranging my stuff in the room, I went out of my and Josh's room to the scent of my boyfriend's scrumptious cooking. We ate and talked as usual before deciding to watch a movie. We washed the dishes together and sat on the sofa, cuddled up under a blanket with my head resting on his shoulder. After the movie, I realised that Josh had fallen asleep and just giggled. I didn't want to wake him up with my movements so I took my phone that was beside me and started reading my unread texts. I opened up Mildred's chat:
Mildred:
I'm so proud of you, bestie! You have finally moved in with your honeyyyy *winky face emoji*
Amber:
Yah! I don't call him that OOF.
Mildred:
Well, you should. Isn't "Josh" kind of boring?
Amber:
Well, he never really complained. Plus, isn't that already a kind of pet name I gave him?
Mildred:
Pfftt... There are people whose real first name is Josh, you know? Doesn't Josh call you something romantic?
Amber:
Well... he does call me "love" most of the time...
Mildred:
See! I'm glad that at least your boyfriend isn't as unromantic as you.
Amber:
Yah! You're supposed to be on my side!
Mildred:
No no hon, I'm on the side of ROMANCE *2 hands making a rainbow shape emoji*
I chuckled at the conversation and went to my contact list. What else should I call Josh? Would he even like it if I called him...
Contacts:
Joshy
"OOF, this sounds weird. But "Honey", "Sweetie" and "Pumpkin" sound weirder," I mumbled to myself.
""Joshy" huh?" I jumped at the sound of my boyfriend's voice.
"Y-yah! How long have you been awake for?"
"Hmm... you know, I wouldn't mind if you called me "Honey" or "Sweetie" or "Pumpkin"."
"Pffttt... yeah right. That's not gonna happen, Josh." I was about to get up and walk away when he pulled my shoulders back down and hugged me, not letting me go.
"Come on, love. Try calling me "Joshy" at least."
"Never, it's so... CHEESY!"
"So? I love whatever you call me, even if it makes me cringe."
"How about "Annoying Ass"?"
"Hey! I'm not annoying." I just shrugged my shoulders and smirked. I turned around to face Josh and saw him pouting. I rolled my eyes and tried getting up again but of course, he didn't budge at all.
"Please, love?" He started giving me puppy eyes. No... not those damn puppy eyes...
"If you don't let me go now, no kisses for you for the rest of the week." Josh pouted even more at my words and finally gave in. I moved away from him and gave him a quick peck on his lips.
"I'll be waiting for you on the bed, Joshyyy." With that, I scurried off to our room.
"I'M COMING LOVE!" I could hear the excitement in my boyfriend's voice as I laid on the bed. Josh joined me and hugged me tightly, kissing me ever so often. We then cuddled and fell into a deep slumber in each others' arms.
