"Just let the dog stay here, dude" I rolled my eyes at Brad

"Just let the dog stay here, dude" I rolled my eyes at Brad. "Okay, fine. He can live out his few remaining weeks with us" Brad agreed, a little shocked by Megan's outburst.

"Yay!" Both the kids yelled at the same time and hugged Brad's stomach. "Thanks, Brad. I don't hate you anymore" Megan mumbled.

"He's going potty!" Megan announced. All of us looked at the dog as he, indeed, like Megan said, went potty.

Aka, went to take a shit in the middle of the kitchen.

"Dylan, Megan, you guys clean it up. It's your dog, not mine" I told them.

"Well clean it up. We don't mind" Dylan said enthusiastically.

"All right, I'm going to work" mom announced. "Yeah, I'm going to school, Dylan is outside" I told mom after I got a message from Dylan.

"Wait, who's Dylan?" Dad asked me as mom and I made our way to the front door. "It's just a friend who brings her to school sometimes and picks her up too. He's a nice kid" mom explained as we got out of the house.

"But, you're just going to let her go out with a boy? I mean-" I cut dad of with me slamming the door shut right in his face.

I saw Dylan's black Impala on the street waiting for me, with Dylan walking towards the house.

"Hey miss Whitaker" Dylan greeted mom. "For the last time, Dylan, call me Sara" mom chuckled as Dylan nodded his head in understanding.

"I didn't know mr Whitaker had a motorcycle" Dylan told us, looking behind him at dad's motorcycle.

"It's isn't Brad's, it's my dad's" I sighed. "Which, of course, is placed right in front of the garage, now I can't get out of the garage" mom groaned.

"Dusty! Can you please move this thing?" Mom yelled from outside.

Dylan walked a little closer to me and bend down to whisper something in my ear. "I thought you haven't seen your dad in-" "Five years, yeah" I whispered back, nodding my head at him.

"He just came back like nothing happened" I sighed. "We'll talk about it in the car" he rubbed my back as he saw how stressed this conversation made me.

"I can't get my car out of the garage" mom yelled.

"Hey, sweetie" Brad came out of the house with dad's motorcycle keys. "It's blocking everything" mom complained.

"No, I know, don't worry" Brad walked towards the motorcycle. "Hey, Dylan" Brad greeted Dylan. "Mr Whitaker" Dylan smiled at him.

"What are you doing? Brad, I don't.." mom watched Brad carefully as Megan and Dylan ran out of the house to watch what was going on.

"Hey, stay away from that, please" mom pulled the both of them back.

"Hey, Dylan!" Megan smiled up at him. "Hey Megs, hey little Dylan"
