It's been a while since everything started to go normal. Das and Brad are besties all of the sudden, which surprised me to be honest.
They really get along and do parenting stuff together.
Dad is now together with a woman named Karen, who also has a daughter, a little older than Megan and Dylan called Adrianna. Karen is sweet to us, she doesn't act any different with us than with her own child.
Adrianna is on her phone most of the time, so we don't really talk. But, I'm not complaining, she half my age anyways so who gives a shit?
Also, mom got her baby. So now we have a half brother named Griffy.
So now, Megan, Dylan, Griffy and I switched houses every week. Which leads to a lot of annoyance actually. When you need something, it's always at the other parent's house.
"Hey baby" Dylan is leaning against the lockers while smiling at me. Dylan and I are still together, which I don't mind at all obviously. I think dad still has a little bit of a problem with me having a boyfriend.
"What are you doing later today?" He asked me as I shut my locker. "I'm going to this Christmas thing the middle school has organized. Dylan and Megan are performing so we're all gonna go" I told him, walking with him beside me to class.
"A shame. I thought we could do something tonight" he smirks down at me. "Shut up" I laugh, pushing him a little.
"You're gonna have two christmasses again or are you guys gonna celebrate together this year?" He asks me. "I don't know. Probably separately. Could you imagine all of us together for Christmas? That would be a nightmare" I chuckled.
"Text me later?" He asked, giving me a quick kiss on the lips before walking in the other direction.
"These look great" Brad commented as he picked one of the self made Christmas cards from the tables. We were already in the middle school for Megan and Dylan, waiting for the time so they can finally start.
"Daddy! Karen!" Dylan yelled before he and Megan ran towards them.
"Hey! Hey, guys!" Dad hugged them both before hugging me. "Hey, kiddo" "Hey dad. Hey, Karen, you look hot" I told her as she smiled back at me.
"Hey, how's it going?" Mom asked everyone as all the adults greeted eachother. "Oh, hey. I got your novel" mom told Karen. "It's amazing" she complemented her.
"Oh, I'm glad you like it" Karen smiled at mom. "I don't know how you write such powerful dialogue. It must just come naturally, right?" Mom kept complementing her.
"You're so sweet" Karen told mom. "Are you guys ready?" Dad asked all of us before all of us made our way inside. "I want my shirt like Adrianna's" Megan whined as she tried to make her shirt into a crop top.
