"Yeah, because you don't have friends"

"You look old" I chuckled at grandpa Kurt as he laughed with me and give me a hug. "You look like your father" he laughed as I laughed with him, giving him the middle finger.

"Dusty" he smiled at dad. "Hey, pop" dad replied, clearly not in the mood. "How was your flight" dad tried to start a conversation.

"Not bad. Took twenty minutes to get to the gate though" grandpa Kurt explained. "What's with that bottleneck you got out here?" He asked dad, slightly hitting his chest, to which Brad copied him and did the same thing.

"I'm sorry, our local airport tarmac's not up to your standards, huh?" Dad asked him with a sarcastic smile.

"I'm sorry, I didn't realize you designed this airport, or I'd have been more sensitive" grandpa replied with an even more sarcastic smile.

"I guess I'll move to a new town with a better airport" dad responded.

Jesus fuckin Christ, how long is this gonna go on for?

"That way you won't be inconvenienced when you show up every five years or so" dad continued. "Looks like you guys have something in common" I commented, smiling sarcastically at him, to which grandpa laughed.

Like I said earlier, I may have forgiven him, but I didn't forget all the shit dad put me through.

"Same old Mr. Touchy. I love it" grandpa chuckled at dad.

"Here you go, Pancho" grandpa said to Brad, handing him his bag. "Why don't you bring the car around? We'll meet you at the curb" grandpa told him.

"I'm not the driver" Brad chuckled awkwardly. "No, I'm Brad" he introduced himself. "The stepdad" he explained. "This is Sara's husband" dad explained. "Remember the old, annoying, white dude that loves rainbows and My Little Pony?" I asked grandpa, remembering the conversation we had about Brad on the phone.

"Why is he with you?" Grandpa asked both dad and I. "Like I know" I shrugged.

"Dad!" Brad gasped as he looked in front of him.

"That sweater. He wears a red sweater so I can see him in a crowd" Brad explained to us, jumping up and down as he looked at Don descending the stairs.

"That's him, that's dad" Brad jumped up and down. Grandpa gave me a knowing look. "If you're sick of him now, imagine almost 3 years with this guy.

Don finally spotted Brad and ran towards him as Brad kept jumping up and down.

They hugged and gave eachother a kiss, on the lips. Yeah, I know.

"What the fuck?" Grandpa mumbled. "Don't curse in front of my daughter" dad mumbled to him. "She curses too" grandpa chuckled. "Yeah, who gives a flying shit, dad" I rolled my eyes at him.
