"These basketball players are hot, mom" I exclaimed to her as we walked to our seats. "Quick, find you one so you can get rid of Brad after the game!" I whispered yelled to her, to which she just rolled her eyes at me."You still don't like Brad? He did give you that car" mom asked me in a hushed voice. "Yeah and I'm grateful for it, but that doesn't make me like him more. I know he just bought me a car to win against dad to some dumb competition they're having" I explained to her.
"Otherwise, he would've never bought that car" I shrugged at her. Brad, dad, Dylan and Megan were all walking in front of us.
"Can you or Dylan teach me how to drive, tho?" I asked her. "Sure, honey" she smiled at me. "You know, because Brad probably won't have time and dad will probably never do it if I ask him" I shrugged.
"You guys got enough candy?" Brad asked us all. "Yeah!" Megan and Dylan responded. "You have your candy, Angel?" Brad asked me over his shoulder.
"Yup" I shook the bag of candy in my hand. "Remember, guys, you can have anything you want, because it's Christmas!" Brad exclaimed happily.
"How long is he gonna keep up with this shit?" I asked mom. "It's not Christmas, kids" mom told Dylan and Megan.
"All right, here we are" Brad announced, making us all stop by a row of seats. "Oh, sick! We're this close?" Dylan exclaimed with a big smile on his face.
"Yeah, pretty good right?" Brad responded. "Megan, you sit right there, Dylan next to me, Angel you can choose where you sit" Brad pointed.
I sat in between Dylan and Megan, mom sitting next to Megan and leaving one seat next to Dylan.
"Dusty, I'm so sorry, yeah, I could only get four in a row. I couldn't get five" Brad gave him a fake apologetic look.
"So you're across the aisle, next to that gentleman" Brad pointed at a big guy with a Lakers shirt.
"All right, guys, I'll be right there" dad pointed at his seat.
I never really expected Brad to be like that to someone, especially someone who's important in Dylan and Megan's lives.
"No, dad, you can sit in my seat" I stood up from my seat, receiving a surprised look from the adults. "No, kiddo, it's okay, I'll sit there, it's not a problem" dad waved me off.
"No, it's okay, Dylan and Megan really want you to sit with them, it's okay, really" I moved out of the row of seats and stood next to dad.
"Kiddo, sit in your seat" dad smiled softly at me, giving my arm a light squeeze before pushing me gently back to my seat.
"Bye, daddy" Megan and Dylan said as he went to his seat.
"Look, there's Kobe! It's him! He's right there!" Dylan pointed at Kobe Bryant excitedly. I chuckled at Dylan, giving him a side hug as he gave me a big smile.
