-𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐲-

After just lying on my bed for an eternity, I texted Star again about what happened.

But in only a few minutes, I started getting spams and calls from my friends all at once, and soon 4 people were trying to break into my room.

"MEL!! OPEN UP THIS INSTANT!"

Sighing, I said goodbye to Star and unlocked the door, my hair messy, and tears still falling.

"Whoa," Callie mumbled.

Clearly this wasn't what my friends had expected.

Lexi stepped forward. "Mel, you- you aren't mad?"

"I heard your conversation with my brother..." Tess mumbled, hugging me tightly. "You must be so heartbroken."

After my friends had left, I eyed my phone, trying to decide if I should play my sad playlist or mad playlist. Deciding on the latter, I jammed in my airpods and flopped onto my bed.

Ian and his dad had to leave for Canada. Why? I had no idea.

"MEEEEEELODY!" my sister's angry voice yelled.

I heard footsteps stomping upstairs, and my door flung open.

"What?" I grumbled.

I was unsure of how it began, but Mal and I were arguing.

"-and another thing, you never clean your room! How do you even have a boyfriend if he sees the way you live? Y'know, I was tempted to tell mom-"

"Oh ho ho, you wouldn't dare do that-"

"Then clean up your trash!"

"Stop calling my stuff trash!"

"How can I when trash is all I see?!"

"Then how can't you see your own trash?!"

It went on for about a half hour until my brother stepped in.
