Meredith wasn't going to deny that Derek's body was amazing and she wasn't going to deny that as wrong as it was, sneaking around was kind of amazing. But she wasn't supposed to wish her friend would go away as she walked with Derek. Cristina was on his service today and she was to follow his instructions and Meredith just wished she would instruct her to go elsewhere.

"So Dr. Shepherd...can't we operate?" Cristina asked, almost ignoring that her friend was there.

"Not yet. We need to wait and see if the swelling goes down first." Derek handed Cristina the chart. "Operating now would do more harm then good

"Mr. Hiles has a bullet in his brain...the harm is done." Cristina replied, looking back at Meredith.

"I know what's wrong Dr. Yang." Derek chuckled. "But there's still a chance and as long as there's a chance and that's what the family wants, that's what we're going to do."

"You know Cristina...Alex and Lexie are at lunch." Meredith stepped in, before her eyes went wide and she looked at Derek. "Not that you should go to lunch...you should do what he says."

"Thank you Meredith." Derek tried not to laugh. "Dr. Yang, why don't you get some blood work and page me when you've got the results...enjoy your lunch in the meantime."

"Oh I know what's going on." Cristina smirked, tapping her friend on the shoulder with the file. "I'm going to go and you two...don't be as loud as last time."

"Thank you Dr. Yang." Derek rolled his eyes. "Page me if his vitals change."

"Yes sir." Cristina smirked, before walking away.

"I guess the secret's out to her."

"She knows I went down on you yesterday." Meredith smirked, as they walked quickly in the opposite direction. This had been going on for over two months now and it was the week of Trevor's speech.

"You tell her the details?" Derek laughed.

"I drank too much last night."

"Me too...chocolate milk."

"I didn't call...I figured Leighton was in your bed by then." Meredith giggled. They had nearly been caught the week before when Meredith had gotten up to go to the bathroom and Leighton had slid into her Dad's bed in the mean time.

"Always call." Derek breathed.

"I'll have to stop by and see her soon." Meredith smiled as they got into the elevator.

"She keeps asking when you're going to come over again."

"I've been in the house so many nights after they have gone to sleep." Meredith replied. "I feel bad because I haven't seen her which is...Trevor sleeps through anything apparently so I could get away seeing her but when I get there she's in bed."

"Maybe we can...plan something so you can see her." Derek smiled, wrapping his arms around her.

"After Trevor's speech on Friday."

"Friday at one."

"Do not be late." Meredith kissed him quickly before the doors opened.

"I'll be there." Derek squeezed her hand as they walked towards his office.

"He gets nervous and he sweats when he talks so I am trying to help him but he needs you there."

"He's like his Dad."

"You don't mind speaking when it's bossing me around."

"True." Derek smirked. unlocking the door to his office.
