19 : Weak

XUEER'S POV

(April 21, 2020. Tuesday, around 1am-2am)

I just got out through the gate, and I immediately look for Chengcheng. When I look at my right side, I saw someone from afar... walking away. Based on the clothes and posture, I'm sure that it is Chengcheng.

I look at my wristwatch to check the time.

I frowned because of confusion. It's still not 2am, why is he leaving immediately? I look at him, intently... though, it's quite hard because of the heavy rain.

He's walking very slow, and he walks unsteadily.

My eyes widened when I realized something. What if he feels weak because he uses his powers for too long?

"CHENGCHENG!", I shouted his name then I started running towards him.

I keep my eyes on him while running, so I saw him stop from walking and he turns his head to look at my direction, slowly.

I suddenly stop running when he slowly knelt and falls onto the ground.

"CHENGCHEEENNNGGG!!!!", I shouted his name again then I hurriedly run towards him.

"Cheng?", I mentioned his name when I arrive in front of him. He's breathing heavily. I can clearly see how pale his face is, his body is trembling.

He opens his eyes for a bit. He can't open it completely because it's raining.

"X-X-Xu--Xueer...", he mentioned my name with difficulty then he smiled.

"...y--you ca—came back.", he said while stuttering.

I smile at him, and he slowly touch my cheeks.

"Let's go home first. You look so weak.", I said worriedly.

He slightly nods before he lost consciousness.

But---

How can we go back at home??? I don't have my power anymore. We didn't bring our phones and car. The reason why I know the time is that I wore my wristwatch.

Haist... No choice.

I'll just ask Yuxin to help m—

"Let's go to my house.", someone suddenly speak from behind.

I turned my head where the voice came from, and I look up to her. It's Yuxin...

"How—", I paused.

"I heard you. You shouted his name, so I check it out because of curiosity. I even forgot to bring umbrella.", she said.

She's completely wet by the rain.

She went near to Chengcheng and put Chengcheng's arm on his shoulder. Then she looks at me.

"Hey, what? Help me carry this man. He's too heavy.", she said.

I chuckled then copied what she did, on Chengheng's another arm.

"Wait—if we stand up, his feet will be drag and brush on the ground because he's tall.", I said.

"Hm, yes. But don't mind it, he's unconscious so... he won't get hurt.", she said.
