V.2, Chapter 8

Chapter 8: A fine line.

Michaela and Jay stepped off the elevator and rushed down the hall. She held her Louis Vuitton bag on her shoulder and she hurried. She came up to Automatic doors and Jay swiftly punched it and they opened it. They walked in and saw the waiting room. She saw June from school, a pregnant lady(she looked familiar at the clubhouse), and her father.

"Dad. What the hell happened?" I asked him as he slowly came up to his feet and walked up to her.

"Some dumb fucks came up in the Chinese spot trying to rob the place. When they burst the window glass it cut him and pretty deep. He lost alot of blood but he good. They just got him a room and his Dad is in there with him."

"Not to be rude but why are you guys here to see my cousin." June butted in as Michaela turned to her and laughed, "oh he didn't tell you...he is my brother." June gasped and looked over at Setta and asked, "Mom what?" Setta grabbed her hand and stated, "its true. I found out this morning. Over the weekend alot happened in their lives. But right now" the doors opened again and Adaijah went to snapping, "Where the is my brother?!" Her grandmother held her hand as she saw Rome and went to gritting her teeth.

"What the fuck are you doing here? Like why are you here?" She spazzed and just as Rome was about to speak they all turned their attention to Izzy who was coming out of the other doors.

"Where is Gino and Raven?" He asked.

"Gino went to get everyone coffee and Raven had got a call and rushed out." Setta told him as he exhaled, "oh okay but he is fine. The glass did nick a main artery and if would have gotten here 2 minutes later he would have bled out. They was able to stitch him up and he is being discharged later tonight. Thanks for coming everyone can go, but Rome can you stay back."

"I want to see him." Adaijah stated as Izzy walked over to his daughter and replied, "We will be home in a few hours and we can get your favorite to eat and watch Aladdin."

"Hibachi? Grandma and I will go pick it up. I know what Cairo wants." She said happily as she walked off.

3 minutes later Gino stepped off the elevator opposite to the one everyone got on to leave. He walked down the hall and thru the doors and caught the tailend of the exchange between these two.

"He wants to see me?" Rome asked.

"Yes. He wants to Thank You for being there and getting him here and basically saving his life. And as for from me Thanks. I know for a fact it didnt happen the way they said on the 4 o clock news." Izzy stated as Rome replied, "Dont ask. As far as you know those owners knocked them off. Let me go see him then"

"One last thing from me is this....thanks for not leaving his side in here. He hates hospitals. Ever since he was little and we had to visit Gregg. It traumatized him I think. So Thank You and go head to see him. Ill be here." Izzy told Rome as he walked off snd Izzy spotted Gino. Gino walked over with the coffee and laughed, "Well it seems everyone left."

"Yeah I sent them home. But Ill for sure take one of these." Izzy said grabbing the cup and he replied, "So what are the odds Rome was in that place."

"Right?! We having a full on Mimosa Day and he is saving my child."

"Did Cairo tell you what happened?"

"He said all he remembered was shots and waking up here." Izzy told Gino as he exhaled and stated, "Glad he is okay. You need me to come over tonight." The two stared into each other arms and Izzy smiled, "as much as I would love a warm body next to me...you need to go home to your girlfriend. I know she is like where the fuck is he."
