V.3; Part 6: Life have changed, get with it.

Benji.

"Mick!" I waved at him outside the courthouse holding my coffee cup and making sure not to stain anywhere on my suit. I seen the pack of hyena's or shall I say paparazzi right across the way taking their photos and whatnot for their blogs. Benji from the real gay lives outside the federal court room awaiting husbands new hearing. Mick walked up to me and we hugged.

"I am so sorry. I woke up about 30 minutes late and it was an accident. Im only hear for you, Benji and my little cousins." He told me quickly making sure I knew he was pissed at his Uncle Jeremiah. Which I totally get. Mick is literally sharing an apartment and is best friends with Rome's son...I can't tell him the full scope of things but his uncle is not the only big bad monster  of this here story.

"I know I just have the girls with my parents and Dandy is scared of courtrooms has if his ass got some sort of warrant. Your Uncle lawyers got the judge to set a new hearing for bail. It's within the hour cmon, the security line looks long." I told Mick as we walked into the cold, stiff, and large building.

Kicking off shoes
Unbuckling my belt
Walking thru the metal detector a few times... being wand down and patted very frisky I may add.

"Are you about to finger me or something? Damn!" Mick snapped as I looked over at him as he was walking towards me with his tray of things. We went to getting back dressed and Mick asked, "I know I been AWOL, but it was a lot to process. Then Cairo came back and I had to see if the dynamic of our relationship would change"

"Why would it? Y'all two are close." I told him as Mick exhaled, "Close but his dad had been on the run for over a year. I was his shoulder to cry on. He even came to the house and did a BBQ with all of us and  Uncle Miah sat there knowing he allegedly had something to do with all of it. Luckily Cairo is a real ass bitch and didn't blame his father and my uncle lifestyle on me. How you holding up?" We walked down the clean and shiny floor that clearly had to be buffed just this morning. That's what I do when I am nervous I start doing shit to take my mind off of what really going on like focusing on why I can see my reflection thru the floor.

"Mick it was legit a mess. The Bombarded the  house with guns like we were Tony Montana. During filming while I was having an event...the first thing that came to my mind was to protect my girls. I ran upstairs to Piper, Prue and Pheobe and just held them tight. It's been a messy messy few weeks. I have probably gotten only 9 hours of sleep since his arrest."

"So you had no idea?" Mick asked as I hit the elevator button. I looked over at him and chuckled, "I met him as a teenager thug bad boy when he moved to Napa. Life happened and I left him for my first love Travis. After ten years of a failed marriage we broke it off. Travis and I failed for 10th time Chile and the only man who I knew I could see myself with was your uncle. So fate made us see each other at a graveyard and we been together ever since. Built a life in Napa and then came here but if you are asking did I know he had became a leader of a fucking cartel, allegedly-hell no."

"And you aren't pissed at him?!" Mick asked as the elevator doors opened and we walked on. We turned to face the doors almost in sync as I replied, "Ofcourse because who risk their family for quick money we are far from hard up on cash--but people in that life it isn't all about the money. It's about two things your uncle has always been enticed by. The Thrill and The Power. However, I'm a loyal and down ass husband who is going to be able to tell his daughters if everything goes sour with this trial that I put my everything in it to save our family. Because if he ends up getting life for this Mick" I got choked up and Mick grabbed my hand and exhaled, "Hey-Hey-Hey. You have to walk into this court room strong with your head above shoulders. If he see this is eating you up more than it's eating him up he is not going to be able to take it."
