Part I: There's a new dynamic in the group now that Sarah's got a BFF. Tensions rise, and Emily feels herself changing for the worst.
Part II: Just when things seem to start coming together for Emily and Sarah, a tragedy strikes. One of the twins mu...
I was surprised to wake up at four in the morning to a loud notification from my girlfriend, Emily. She'd messaged in the group chat with Mia, her sister, and me to ask if we felt like ditching class for the beach.

Without much convincing, I agreed to come.
Emily and Sarah were already at the 24 Hour Coffee Shop at our university when I arrived, so we were just waiting on Mia.
"You're positive you don't mind missing a quiz in your class?" Emily questioned, gently grabbing my arm to hold, "It's okay if you wanna go! We can always go another time together."
I shook my head. I missed enough time with her during our breakup, and I didn't want to miss another opportunity. I just wanted to be with her as much as possible to make up for that.
"I already emailed the professor I wasn't coming," I told her, to which she smiled and hugged me.
"Mia, thank goodness you're here!!" Sarah ran to hug her friend, "They were about to start making out again. I can't take the embarrassment!"
"Oh my gosh, we were not. Now that you brought it up though..." Emily rolled her eyes before turning to me with a smile and pulling my chin down to kiss me.
I played into it, causing Sarah and Mia to groan. Emily laughed, squeezing my hand.
"You poor thing. Don't worry, I won't leave you alone with them," Mia jokingly reassured Sarah.
"I swear-" Emily playfully rose her arm to pretend as if she were about to smack her twin's head. Sarah dodged her attempt, hiding behind Mia as they laughed.

While we were in the car, I managed to snap a selfie of all of us listening to loud music while the windows were rolled down.

I forgot my professor from the biochem class I was missing was following me, so I made sure to apologize in the caption before uploading the picture.

"Ugh, I wanna go swimming with you, but Miss Mia can't get her hair wet," Emily muttered to me quietly, "I can't leave her out."
"Sarah can hang out with her," I suggested.
Yeah, I knew a possibility that Sarah wouldn't want to ditch Emily either. It seemed from Emily's face, she thought about that too.
"I have an idea," she picked up my hand, laughing about deviously.
Oh, she wanted to kiss again. I was fine with that!
We did that, and obviously it freaked out the other girls enough to where they burst into a sprint away from the shore.

"Well," Emily burst into cheerfulness, "Got those two off our tails!!"
"So PDA is the fast way to do it, huh?" I laughed, leaning into hugging her.
"Yep," she winked, giggling, "Gotta do that more often!"
