"Oh my gosh, I swear I didn't know that would happen!" Emily cried as she reached out, but I shoved her away abruptly. She was pitying me, and I didn't need it.
"Oh yeah, I could see how sorry you were when you thought driving away with your boyfriend, while knowing I can't drive, was a great freaking idea! You knew I'd be stuck there, and you left anyway," My voice broke as I told her. I couldn't even look at her.
Emily tried to defend her actions, "I thought you'd get a ride with Mia, or one of our friends at least! You guys are always hanging out, so I thought she'd take you back! Do you think I'd be that cruel to leave you there if I knew-"
"Mia is not my sister!! I can't just depend on people the same way I depend on you! I can't just talk to people the same way you do! I'm the boring twin, remember? You know how-" I cut myself off, the resurfacing memories hurting me too much to continue.
