"Alex, wake up. We have to go to the police station." Hanna said.

"Mm-mm" I replied, but it was barely audible. I blinked.

"Get up and get ready. I'm not going to wake you up again." She left.

Even though I was so tired, I forced myself to get up as I knew that it was an important day. I went to get ready. After breakfast, Hanna, Miranda, Claire and I left. When we reached the police station, Hanna said a few words to the receptionist and he took us to a room where an officer was waiting.

He stood up. "Good morning, Ms. Collins. I'm sorry but I do not know you."

"Oh that's okay, just call us miss." Hanna said.

"Alright, please sit down. My name is Officer Brook. I believe you have something to tell me."

As we sat down, I started off. "Yes, Officer Brook. You know about the fire, right?"

"Yes I do."

"Okay, after the fire, one of the days, my friends and I were passing by a construction building. It was secure and was surrounded by fences. Anything that would fall, would land in the area surrounded by the fences but a brick fell and nearly... hit me," I didn't know what to say for that, "a few days after that, on my birthday, someone threw a knife at me at the restaurant I was in. Then again, a few days ago, someone threw an umbrella shaft at me and I fainted. I have always been saved by my friends who have always been there with me but I have had near encounters with death which I have never had before the fire."

"What's your point?"

"Our point," Hanna said, "is to make you aware of the fact that all these accident are not actually accidents. The same person who set the fire, which was your idea, is trying to kill Alex!"

"Please calm down miss. The police will look into this matter, I can assure that. What I would suggest is that maybe your friends and you should go on a vacation if you feel unsafe here. Enjoy, relax and be safe. That's the most I can offer you at this point. Thank you. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go. I'm sure you can find your way out." He said and left.

"Yeah, excuse you." Hanna muttered under her breath and we left too.
