"That's Matt," Matt's signature ring tone of Betrayed played loud as ever. Noelle was straddling Arin on the couch, them spending some time together after the week trip back home. Whenever they were physically apart it was like he was clingy and possessive and annoying, but then the second she would go over to his place he would be the perfect boyfriend. She was just glad she got quiet moments with him. Arin rolled his eyes at Matt's chirping ringing from her phone. "Hey Shadow, what's up?"

She had gotten back into the habit of calling him Shadow as of recently--it was weirdly natural. "Just checkin' in on you. Finally filled Zack in on everything. He told me to tell you he missed you."

"You say that like I was missing," She pushed her hair back as Arin rubbed the outside of her thighs. "Look, Matt, I'm kind of busy right now, is there anything else you need?"

"Besides running one last song by you, we're in the clear. The album should be done way sooner than any of us expected."

"Good! That's good. Pierrick wanted me on the next LoveHateHero album anyway and producing with them is always a lonnngg endeavor."

"Well have fun with your squeeze! Love you Ells."

"Love ya too Shads. Bye."

Arin gave her a look. "You're on a love you basis with M. Shadows?" He said questioningly, taking his hands off her legs. She realized how weird that probably sounded to him.

"No! No. I mean, yes. Arin, he's like a brother." She word vomited an attempted explanation. "Known him a long time and all."

"I thought you had only known him since January?"

"It's a long story. We're pretty much long lost childhood friends. Same with Brian, actually."

Arin nodded, and she could sense a slight distrust in his tone. "Ah, really?"

"Yes, really!" She insisted, pulling her arms over his neck.

"Cause usually when a girl says a guy is like a brother it just means she hasn't fucked him yet." Arin looked towards her lips.

Noelle looked back at him, slightly taken aback by the comment. "Was that supposed to be funny? Because if it was, you shouldn't quit your day job. What the hell is the matter with you?" She tried to kick her leg over to get off him, but he grabbed the bottom of her thighs and kept her on.

"Fuck. I'm sorry, that's not what I meant, okay? I'm just paranoid. I look like a shrimp next to them, you have to understand. You leave me in constant astonishment that I could score someone like you." He said, meeting her eyes.

She rolled hers. "Nice save, jackass, but you can trust me." He pulled her in to kiss her, quickly deepening it and biting her bottom lip gently. "Someone missed me." He didn't really reply as he grabbed her and flipped her over below him on the couch, suddenly working quickly to get her shirt off. "Arin, slow down, we have all the time in the world dude." She tried to touch his face to make him look her in the eye but instead he was already working on touching her and making it harder for her to pull away.

"It's been too long babe, can we get to the part where we help each other out?" He pushed up her skirt and began to unbuckle his belt. It felt very unromantic but she didn't really have it in herself to say no yet, until he pushed her underwear aside and felt him push into her.
