July 2007"God, just forget he's gonna be there, okay?" Mandy said, smudging her eyeliner with her free hand, the other holding the pencil. "He needs to get over himself anyway. His friends are our friends and you have to see each other outside a damn studio eventually."
Mandy's anger only lasts so long at Noelle. Once she composes herself it's water under the bridge. Brian's on the other hand has proven not so much. He barely even looks at her in studio, just takes her directions and talks to the wall behind her. It's made her feel like shit. But then she remembers he gave up on her after all those years separated because he didn't approve of a boyfriend and she becomes angry at him all over again.
Mandy is in a black bikini top and red shorts, and Noelle is in a red one piece with a blue skater skirt over it getting ready for the fourth of July at the park. Jimmy invited everyone, another attempt at getting Brian and Noelle together in an unprofessional setting without them ignoring each others air or fighting.
Brian was stubborn and set in his way, and Noelle didn't like people giving her ultimatums. And plus, Arin had done all he promised her.
Arin had essentially became the perfect boyfriend overnight this last month. Never pressured her, stayed in her comfort zone, still apologized like a million times a day. They picked up where they left off in a lot of ways but in a lot of other ways he was better than ever to her. (fine print: makeup sex on her own terms was pretty great too.) She wished Brian could see it. She wished he could understand. She wished she could've gotten the point across to him.
But Brian has a girlfriend now. a 5'11, skinny redhead named Andrea who seems pretty cool and friendly and made something in her stomach churn whenever she thought of her.
"It's hard to forget when he has such a stupid unforgettable face." Noelle angrily brushed her hair. Mandy had also held a grudge on Arin; but one where they were amicable when Noelle was around. "And his stupid little ginger barbie is gonna be there."
"Hey, don't take it out on Andrea. She's chill and you know it."
"God, how'd he even meet her?" Noelle found herself pacing exasperatedly, then stopping herself when she realized that's exactly what Brian would be doing right now. "She's so... Ugh! I can't even be mad. She is so fucking hot."
"So steal her from the man." Mandy shrugged.
"She's not my type, but she's still hot." Noelle nudged her. "Alright. If I brush my hair anymore it's all gonna fall out. If we're going to Echo Park we need to grab Arin and get."
"You seriously have to bring shit nozzle McPiss drain?" Mandy's insults for Arin got more creative the more time passed. "He's just gonna stir shit up."
It was also a known fact everyone in Avenged Sevenfold (even sweet lil' Johnny who had only known Noelle for a half a year now) wanted to make Arin's life hell. But didn't, out of respect.
"Please. One word and he's got five guys on him like a pack of rabid chihuahuas." Noelle laughed, grabbing the keys. "Let's go."

"He's here?" Brian groaned as Arin, Mandy and Noelle walked up to the picnic table, Mandy carrying a bag of takeout Del Taco and Noelle hanging off of Arin's side, his arm wrapped around her. Brian could've thrown up in his own mouth. The more he saw Arin Ilejay, the more he wanted to punch his stupid snide grin and slice off--
