February 2008"You had to put me in green." Noelle carefully complained as Andrea strung up her corset. If you thought Jim and Mandy were gonna have a normal wedding you were dead wrong. All the bridesmaids looked like damn swampland fairies. It's her day, it's her day, Noelle mentally chanted as Andrea strung a particularly painful section. "Jesus Andrea! Go a little tighter why don't you?"
Andrea shrugged. "It didn't hurt me at all to put on. Did you know they're for support? Like bras. They didn't actually used to hurt or deform people in the 1800s, unless they were tightlaced." She strung again. Noelle felt the air leave her lungs in a huff. "It's probably impacting your chest more because you have small boobs."
Wow. Thanks.
Mandy was in her own little world as she beat her face with concealer and powder and blush and mascara and a green and black smoky eye. Her dark hair cascaded in ringlets around her back, and Noelle couldn't help but smile at her best friend. Amanda was beautiful. And Jim definitely did not deserve her. Who the fuck would?
Noelle looked at herself in the mirror, standing behind Mandy. She crouched over her and gave her a careful hug as to not fuck up her hair or makeup. "You look like a Disney princess. But like, emo woodland creature."
The dress they picked was truly perfect for her. It was form fitting and the tubed bust complimented her so well and the huge skirt was a good call. Andrea definitely has an eye for fashion, and is always great to Mandy.
Noelle is just beginning to think Andrea just doesn't like her.
Mandy smiled back to her. "I know! I feel amazing. I'm just worried. His family and all, you know, there like..." she sighed out. "They're great, but they're so normal that I feel insecure around them."
"That's stupid," Andrea scrunched her nose. Her auburn hair was straightened and fell around her. She looked like a Neutrogena commercial with its High Gloss And Shine. "You're amazing and they're gonna love you."
"You're right." Mandy snapped. Seeing her insecure was a rare occurrence that never lasted long. "I'm amazing. Let's fucking go."

"You ready?" Brian said as he held out his arm for Mandy to link with, everyone getting in positions from right behind the giant translucent glass doors.
Mandy just smiled a huge and bright smile as she grabbed Brian's arm.
Noelle linked arms with Matt, and they looked back to Andrea looking less than impressed having to link arms with Zack. "Who shat in her cereal?" Matt said, as the doors opened and they all began to walk down the aisle. Amplified wedding music boomed and made her ears ring slightly. She had entirely no clue why they their friends were getting married in a church.
"No clue." Noelle smiled for the video, looking in front of them as they walked, "Have you noticed that Andrea definitely isn't the chick we all met last July?"
Matt just nodded and their conversation halted. Jim looked like a kid on Christmas. Okay, that's a bad expression, but how else do you say his entire face lit up, and he looked elated and proud and like he was gonna cry at any second.
The ceremony moved fast. All the groomsmen to one side and the two bridesmaids to the other. Noelle had no idea how the two had fallen in love so quickly, but Mandy didn't hesitate to grab his hands and once she got the okay to start reciting her vows.
