The sound of my alarm woke me up

The sound of my alarm woke me up. After turning it off, I turned my bedroom light on. The feeling of being alone hit me. I liked feeling his warmth throughout the night and I wanted that right at this moment. I grabbed my phone and saw a message from Liam.

Liam: I'm sorry for leaving you, but as you said we have to be professional.

I hope you're feeling better and I can't wait to see you <3

I can't say I ever thought I deserved to be treated the way he has treated me in the last week, but I was sure as hell grateful for it. I got out of bed and changed into my previous clothes. I loved the outfit and I didn't bring anything else to my room so it had to work. I fixed my hair and went out of the room. I closed the door, looking around the hallway if anyone was there.

I went up to Liam's door and thought about coming in. I was about to knock when the door opened. Liam looked surprised to see me but smiled.

"You're up." I nodded. "I was just about to check on you but you're here. Come in." I didn't hesitate to go inside and sat down on his bed. The room was basically identical to mine. Except the familiar scent of his perfume stood out to me. I loved it.

"Thank you for being there. I really appreciate it." He smiled as he closed the door. "But I don't think that our little meetings should continue." He raised his brows.

"You're kidding right?"

"At least not for a while." He looked away. "I'm not saying that I don't like you, it's just that I can't think about anything else because of you." He smiled.

"I guess that's a good reason." He leaned against the small dresser and crossed his arms over his chest.

"I just want to end this bullshit. And just then focus on my personal life."

"I mean, I respect that but I hope that you see me in that personal life." I smiled.

"I guess I do, but it's early days to think about it." He nodded. "I want to be friends with you now and just focus on my job."

"If you want that, then I'll respect your wishes." I nodded. "So no more kissing, hugs or intercourse?"

"Pretty much. I mean I do think we can hug when we want but no other interactions." He smiled.

"Alright." I stood up. "But," I looked at him. "Don't go out with other males, got it?" I nodded.

"That won't be hard. If I'm sort of ending things with you, I don't think there's room for another."

"Bene." I turned to leave the room until he grabbed my wrist. "But, I need you to promise me that."

"I keep my word. You have nothing to worry about."

"If it does happen, I'm killing him and I won't give a fuck who he is. And you, my love, will lose my respect big time."

"And what if you do that you-" He pushed me against the wall, looking straight into my eyes.
