I opened my eyes and took almost two whole minutes to remember the past day. The room was different and not the one I've been sleeping in for the last few days. I tried to move but I wasn't able since someone's arms were around me. I tried to wiggle out but Liam tightened his grip.

"Liam." He didn't let me go. "Liam, let me go."

"No. You'll leave me then." He said with his deep morning voice.

How the hell was he so damn attractive at everything he did or say?

"Who said that?" He placed a kiss on the back of my head.

"Well, when will I get to sleep with you again? Not fuck you. I can do that whenever," I rolled my eyes. "But when you leave this room, we're back to being enemies." I smiled.

"Yeah, but who knows, maybe I'll join you again." His grip loosened, letting me turn around to face him. He looked at me. "How are you feeling?"

"Amazing." He kissed me. His lips were soft as ever.

"How's your wound?"

"Hurts, but I have quite a high pain tolerance so it's fine." I smiled as I caressed his cheek. "You look beautiful."

"Thank you." He placed his hand on the side of my face and pressed his lips to mine. Just when you think things can't get better, they get worse. A knock on the door made me jump out of the bed.

"Liam! Can I come in?" I heard Francesco say.

"Shit. Wait one moment." Liam yelled out. I put my shorts and slippers on, grabbed my phone and robe, and went into his bathroom. "Just don't run away." He whispered. I smiled as went inside. I closed the door and placed my stuff down on the counter.

His bathroom smelled really well. It reminded me more of the woods rather than him but either way, it was heavenly. It was mostly black and had just small accents of white tiles. "Come in," Liam said before I heard the door open and close.

"How are you feeling, son?"

"I'm fine. What do you want?" They weren't exactly the best example of father and son. Although, I can't say I'm surprised.

"Why were you with her?"

"Why does it matter?"

"I asked."

"It shouldn't concern you."

"It will when I figure out that you're dating." I heard Liam chuckle.

"Anything else?"

"I came here for the mission."

"No."

"Li-"

"No. I said we're done and that's final. We'll help them to get rid of Vlad and then part our separate ways or become allies." That was exactly what I wanted from the start. Maybe the latter wasn't exactly ideal but I felt hopeful.
