I got a text from Celeste that the guards she sent are already there in hiding. We were five minutes from the warehouse when I began to feel nervous. Damiano placed his hand on my thigh, calming my nerves.

"Tutto andrà bene." [ Everything will be fine. ]

"I know. I just can't imagine what Laura is going through." My daughter. My only child was suffering right now. As a mother, I couldn't bear this. Her husband is dead while her kids are taken. My grandkids.

"I know. She doesn't deserve it." We arrived at the port shortly and immediately got out of the car. We took out two guns each and three magazines to replace. I noticed Scott who was the head of our guards in the US, so we went towards where he was standing.

"Good afternoon, Miss Rossi-Marino." I nodded.

"Buonasera, Scott. Is everyone ready?"

"Yes, I can send seven men with you and Mr Marino. Three others will stand by the entrance and the rest will go up higher in case we have to take someone down from higher up." I nodded and proceeded to go towards the warehouse. There weren't any people except the two guards by the entrance.

Damiano came up behind me as we came up behind a truck.

"Should we kill them?" I looked at him.

"Won't it be too cruel?" He smiled and within ten seconds, he went out of hiding, taking out the two men.

"Impressive."

"Grazie, amore." A smile tugged my lips as we went towards the entry. Five guards were behind us as Damiano opened the door on the side and took us inside. The inside was cold and barely had any light. We continued walking forward, looking around for anything that could help us. I noticed a hallway, which had doors on either side of it, barely lit up by any lights, except the window where the light from the streetlamps shined through. Three men went with me, keeping just the right amount of distance in case anything happens.

There were five doors on the right-hand side and each had a name card on them. One had the assistant manager, another had the manager and the final had Igor Lovol imprinted on it. I knew he wasn't in the US, thanks to Lorenzo, so I opened the door, which to my surprise was unlocked.

Dipshits.

Who leaves their office door in a warehouse opened? I walked in as Scott followed me just in case.

It was an office-like room, barely had any furniture apart from a desk, chair and desk lamp. As well as a file shelf on the right. I approached it, eying out the files. Most of them were old deals and shipments, but one box caught my eye. It was labelled as "PROJECT ROMAR". Just from the events that took place, I assumed the RO meant Rossi and MAR meant Martinelli. I took the box, took the top off, and set it on the shelf. It had papers and files so the only logical thing for me to do was to not read them and just steal them. If it was important to them, they would've kept it under fifty locks, not somewhere that was accessible to practically anyone.
