Margo practically dragged me outside to the car and told me to sit down in the back. I got into the car while Mar and Laura joined me shortly. Margo drove off as Laura connected her phone to put on music.

She put on the song "OH MAMI" by Chase Atlantic and we began to sing along. As we stopped at the gate, Margo pressed the button on her key to get the car roof off. I felt a bit chilly but I wasn't complaining. She picked up the speed and I felt the wind brush through my hair.

It reminded me of the days when we used to do this almost every night. We sang along to the song as Margo drove on the highway. She accelerated faster, passing by the cars around us.

"This is what I'm talking about!" Laura yelled out. We got off the highway shortly and drove into a dark road leading to the city. When we stopped at a red light, another car pulled up beside us and it didn't take much to realize who was inside.

"Dio mio! Alex!" Margo squealed. Liam and Alex with another guy were in a roofless, black car beside us. Liam was in the driver's seat while Alex was in the back. The other handsome guy was in the passenger seat. The light turned green but none of us moved out of the way.

"You girls fancy for a race?" Liam asked while keeping his eyes on me. I smiled. "Oh, and by the way, this is Egon. My cousin." He winked at me and waved at the other girls.

"Celeste, take my place, I want to watch this." Margo climbed back before I climbed in her place and buckled up.

"Nice ass you got there, love." I gave Liam the middle finger.

"Let's see if you can win against me."

"Cazzo, I've missed this," Laura said.

"What's the route?"

"Round here, back on the highway and then around the skyscraper district. We'll get back to the estate." I nodded and looked at the traffic light. Red.

"Good luck, amore." Yellow.

"Non ho bisogno di fortuna, ho il diavolo dalla mia parte." [I don't need luck, I've got the devil on my side.] Green.

I hit the gas, letting the car accelerate forward. I sped up as much as I could and went around the surrounding area. I looked at my rear-view mirror, seeing that they were nowhere to be seen.

"Cazzo, Cel, their ahead." I looked forward, noticing their car and hit the gas once more. I reached them and drove around the location. I looked at Liam. He looked like he was in it to win it.

"Not gonna happen, Martinelli!" I yelled out and looked back at the road. Liam was caught off guard, which let me pass him. I drove out into the highway first and accelerated forward. I passed many cars as people surrounding us started to honk their horns.

We run this place, darlings.

"How far?"

"About two cars," Mar announced; I nodded.
