I walked into the meeting room where Dante and Lorenzo were sitting. We were going to discuss everything that Vincenzo is to blame for. I sat down and crossed my arms over my chest. I was hoping that Liam wouldn't play around right now, however, Liam wasn't very trustworthy on this topic.

"So, Vincenzo."

"He helped someone to kill Matteo, which resulted in Martina's death. Then also, is responsible for Cel's arranged marriage?" I nodded.

"Seems about right."

"Questo è ridicolo," [This is ridiculous.] Dante spoke. I glanced at him. "My father, the guy that I looked up to, is ruining the family, something that he valued more than anything."

"He's doing it for the money. All he'll get from this is money, deals and peace."

"And what about Francesco?" I chuckled.

"You mean the man that wants to get rid of us?" Lorenzo looked at me, clearly very confused at what I had just said. "He and Liam had a chat that I stumbled upon and after some time, I made Liam confess what it was about. He said that from the beginning all of them were a part of a mission where they'd try to get rid of us by getting to know us. Basically, they wanted to try and get under our skin."

"So that's why they decided to reach out to us." I nodded at Lorenzo's statement.

"I had this assumption from the beginning but for some reason, I didn't go by it."

"At least you have someone now," Lorenzo said with a smile.

"Shut up." I tried to hide my amusement.

Liam was one of the greatest people I've met in my life. The only thing that went well from this shenanigans.

"So you are together?" Dante asked. I shot Lorenzo a deadly glare. "You know it's fine right?" I looked at Dante, my eyes widened in disbelief.

Is he being serious?

"You're fine with that?" He smiled and nodded.

"Figlia, he's a nice guy and I've noticed his protectiveness over you," I smiled. "Just because Vinc or some of his family members won't approve, doesn't mean that most of us won't." I looked at him. "Are you happy with him?"

"Si, papa. I really am."

"Then that's all I need to know, tesoro."

"Grazie, papa." He smiled at me as I looked at Lorenzo. "So, what do we do?"

"Maybe you should talk to Liam too."

"No. Vinc is my target. He can deal with everyone else." Lorenzo nodded.

"Perhaps we should send him to the dungeon?" It would be a great idea but as long as he was alive, I wouldn't be happy.

"I want him dead."
