Two Weeks Later

" How did you guys do?" I asked, walking up to the still burning campfire.

" Not good." Lev answered bluntly as the light breeze picked up a bit.

" Do we have enough to get us to the conference center?"

Lev paused. " There's only enough for two of us."

" The constant fighting made everything run away, Yara said, coming closer to the fire. " Where not going to be finding anything else."

" How far way are we from it again?" Lev asked.

" Three hour. You two eat the rabbit. I'll be fine."

" You haven't eaten longer than us."

" You two are more skilled then me. You need to be taken care of."

" You still have someting to eat. It might seem discusting, but you'll feel better."

I looked at the large pan Lev was cooking the two small squarles, seeing four eyeballs being cooked.

My stomach muscles tenced again. " I never thought I would have to eat eyeballs."

" Do you want it's... privite area too?"

" One exotic body part at a time." I said, sitting down.

" Can we follow the river to that place?"

" It's possable, but that's the long way around."

" It's the smartist root. We don't have to worry about dehydrating."

" Where following the river then."

Seven Hour Later

Lev's P.O.V.

Abby collapsed onto the first chair she saw.

" Abby!" I yelled.

" Need...food..." She whispered.

" I'll find something for her, guard the door." Yara said.

I took out her cantean and let her drink from it.

She had lot so much weight that I thought she might explode when she finally ate something.

Abby started to close her eyes. " Yara! Hurry!"

" There's nothing here!" She yelled back.

" Abby, stay awake. You can do it."

Abby closed her eyes, but she was still breathig.

" Yara!"

Yara rushed back downstairs.

" Is she still breathing?" Yara asked.

" Yeah, but her eyes are shut."

" She's fine Lev. Just passed out."

" Passed out?"

" Unconchious. Not awake."

" So, she's just sleeping?"

" Yes."

" You didn't find anything at all for her?"

" No, where going to have to hunt."

" There's bearly any animals around."

" We cound try and go fishing. You remember how Dad made his traps?"

" I can make a fishing pole Yara."

" When could you do that?"

" The Elder tought me."

" One of us has to stay with her."

" You should stay. Mom taught you the health stuff."

" Be careful. The currents are stronger."

I took out my journel and gave it to Yara. " There's instructions on how to fortafy and make sound trap in there. I'll knock before I come in."

I hopped through the window we came in and blocked it back up. Checking the nearest buildings, I didn't find anything, leading me straight to the currents.

I found some craits in one of the buildings, but it was just a bunch of paper. I took some for fire help and contimued on, hoping to find something soon.

Climing my way to the roof of the building, most of the surrounding area was full of heavy mist, making it hard for me to scope out the area.

Hopping off the roof, I ended on a patch of still standing road, then hopped onto a balcony.

Searching the room, I found a safe. I pryed the hinges off with my flathead screwdriver and hammer, finding a few bottles of expired painpills and a bottle of whisky. I took it and continued, none of the other rooms had anything.

Heading to to the roof again, I saw the Farris Wheel. The Elder told me that it was a machine that lowly would go round and round. It was fun to ride on. He also said that the Aquariam was magical.

Having to jump down onto another balcony, the screaching of a Deamon made my heart rate go up.

I slowly pecked on the glass, making a hole then shooting a computer screen that was in a room on the opiside side of the bar, leaving the Demons to go into a door.

I jumped through an already broken window and quickly locked the infected in the room, giving me time before they broke through the door. More alcohol was found, nothing else.

After playing hopscotch on almost colapsed cement, I made my way to another building.

Nothing again.

I had to take some time climbing up to the higher level's, all for nothing.

The only thing found was a small partol of Saraphites.

They were knocked off by the wind whilw they were crossing.

I carefully crossed it, finding more bridge and wooden platforms.

Then I came to a large bridge with less wooden bridges.

Crawling and hopping across the bridge, I finally got to see what my surroundings were. There were tall buildings surrounding me, but some of them were very decrepid already.

I climbed onto a metal railing ti see that else I could find.

On the right, I saw an all white building with a red cross.

A Hospital, perfiect.

I finished crossing the bridge, having to jump down a gap in the ground, havning to jump down a few more holes to get to an open elevator, finding myself inside the building.

Nothing again.

There was a door to proceed, but it had spores on the other side.

I got my gas on, opening the door quietly, the creeking making a Demon click.

Carfully going through the rooms, there was some shotgun shell, but no shotgun.

There was no way down, to I opened the rooms, finding Demons, along with a balcony.

After clearing the room, I tapped the glass a quietly as possable, getting onto the balcony, the rapids roaring making me sweat a little.

I took out my sickle and jumped up, my sickle hooking on the metal. After a fwe minutes of that, I reached the rooftop, jumping to the next building.

Nothing in that one either, but it gave me a good look at the hospital.

WLF members were everywhere, loading supplies on boats and taking them away.

There were some other buildings surrounding it that I could use as cover to find a better way inside.

I jumped across to an open window cile and hopped through it, putting me in the middle of a Saraphite and Demon fight.
