Chapter Four

" Did that wake you up?" Dina asked as I came out of the bathroom.

" Enough to keep me awake." 

" Have you ever heard of a washing machine?" 

" Well yeah. Why?" 

" All of your clothes are dirty accept for your spare's." 

" Do you mind doing them for me Momma?" 

" I'll take them to my place. Go aheadand get dressed or else you'll be late." 

I took off my towel and quickly got dressed in a grey long sleeve shirt, tight skinny jeans, and my newist pair of hunting boots.

" I'll see you later." 

" Alright,be safe. It seems like those things are flocking more and more there." 

" Noted."

" Felling better?" Ebon asked as I entered the horse stable to get Shimmer.

" Yeah. You?" 

" Enough that I am accompanying you."Tommy want's me stationed in the lounge, ski logde."

" Hope on." 

" He said Jake and Nes are up there two, scouting the Cooper Peak in and whatever else is in the area."

" Kay, I said hoping on Shimmer.

She made her way to the gate as Ebon opened his lunch. " Did you eat today." 

" No, sorry." 

" That's what I'm for. You want my apple or my other stake sandwich? 

" I'll pass on the biggot sandwich, thanks."

Ebon gave me his apple and cheese crackers as the gate opened.

" Is there stillenough for you?" 

" Yeah. Don't worry about it." 

" Be careful out there you two!" Joel called from ontop of the gate. 

" Promise!" Ebon yelled back. 

" Alright, let's go Shimmer." I said snapping her bridle. 

She huffed in response and started galoping.

" Isn't it about time for it to stop snowing?" Ebon asked through his full mouth.

" It should be, but we might have straight up snow fo ra while since all the climate changes. How's Quill?" 

" She apologised to me today. She's starting to argue with herself instead of me. Made me laugh my ass off." 

" I'd imagion."

" Whoa. Look at this beutiful landscape. I wish Quill's camera was around."

" I can put  a wordin for you to be the main patroler if you want it?"

" I would like that,but I know other people enjoy the sites."

" Still can ask them to letyou tag along though." 

" Yeah, I would like that. Thanks, sister."

" Your welcome buddy." 

Ebon soon zoned out completely, but as soon  as Shimmer stopped and he saw the view that he would be enjoying, a full smile formed on his lips. 

He hopped of Shimmer before I could get into the building and darted towards the side of the lounge.

" Did Christmas come early?" Nessa asked, walking up the hill.

" He saw the overlook, so yeah." 

I tied up Shimmer. " Where's Jake?" 

" He lagging behind a tad, making sure the fence is stable before you two clear the buildings."

" Send Ellie here, not." Jake whisped through the radio.

Nessa clicked the radio twice and I started creeping down the hillside, Nessa not far behind me.
