Chapter 6

(Lupa p.o.v)

-We explode into the room guns drawn looking for a target-

Mika:"Lara!" -Mika screams lowering her weapon and rushing to our friends side-

-An explosion that shook the entire building had us worrying for what was to come-

-Spotting Lara she had a machete lodged into the side of her helmet-

Lupa:"Lara we're here!" -I loudly say as the rest of the girls secure the window-

Lupa:"Ashley!, get Chris in here, NOW!" -I demand from the leopard-

-She takes off running down the hall as I quickly inject the giant wolf with morphine-

-I could see her drifting in and out of consciousness-

Adder:"What the hell happened?" -The feline asks looking down at the inferno blazing below us-

-Removing her helmet the machete comes with it revealing a deep gnash in Laras face-

-Swiftly getting to work on her Ashley comes sprinting into the room-

Ashley:"He's not there!" -Ashley reveals the rifle he uses-

Mika:"That little bastard!, he's betrayed us!" -Mika jumps to conclusions-

Adder:"Lupa...." -Adder calls out-

-Turning for a moment I spot the feline holding a string full of grenade pins, and in the other hand was a bloody knife-

-Belonging to the human.....-

-I felt my heart drop for a moment-

Lupa:"You don't think...." -I ask looking back at Lara as I press the bandage to her bleeding face-

Mika(R):"Anvil 3, we need immediate reinforcements" -Mika says into the radio-

Anvil 3(R):"Copy that Alpha team, ETA ten minutes" -A reply came from the pilot-

-Suddenly a cough came from Lara as her good eye widens-

Lupa:"Lara!?, look at me!, look at me!, you're okay!" -I comfort the wolf who meets eyes with me-

Lara:"T-the No-Fur...." -She weakly raised her hand to the shattered window-

Lupa:"Where is he Lara!?" -I ask her gently treating her wound-

Lara:"General Python..., h-he...." -Her head fell back as she passed out again-

-My head swung around-

Lupa:"Get down there now!" -I shout to Adder, Amber and Ashley-

-They all give a nod before jogging out the door-

"Did he save Lara?....." -I think beginning to wrap her head with the bandage-

-I felt the tightness rise in my chest as the possibility of the human sacrificing himself became higher and higher-

"H-he can't..., die..., not now?..." -I think feeling worry rising in me-

General Python:""Y-you will die..., WITH ME!" -The General roared pulling to kill switch on his grenadier belt-

"UNFAIR!" -I grit my teeth twisting the blade into his eye-
