Chapter 30

(Chris p.o.v) -A few hours later-

*POUND, POUND, POUND*

-Once again snapping awake I let out an annoyed groan-

Chris:"Why can't these assholes leave me the hell alone!"

-Bolting to my feet I storm across my room opening my door-

Chris:"What the fuck do you want!?" -I snap my eyes not yet adjusted to who it was-

-An annoyed growl came from someone as they cross their arms-

Adder:"You've slept over twenty hours....." -A familiar voice says-

"The fuck?" -I think rubbing my eyes-

Chris:"But I only went for a small nap....."

-Lupa walks past also geared up-

Lupa:"Those pills will knock you out for hours on end to speed up the healing....." -She casually says walking past-

Adder:"Yeah..., what she said...." -Adder replies rolling her eyes-

Chris:"What time is it?" -My eyes adjust to Adder standing outside my door....., in her gear?....-

Adder:"6:15am...., you have forty-five minutes to get ready...."

Chris:"Get ready for what?"

Adder:"We have a mission jack ass...., what?, you think Chloe gave you a fancy room and bed so you could sit on your ass for days on end?"

-A sigh escapes me as I rub my eyes, Adder only then realised I was standing practically naked in the doorway again-

Adder:"Maybe put some clothes on too....." -She sarcastically says walking away-

-A scowl formed on my face as I shut the door-

Chris:"God fucking dammit...." -Scolding myself I head for the bathroom-

(Adder p.o.v) - 45 minutes later-

-Sitting in the briefing room with my Kar98k across my lap General Chloe impatiently taps her claws on the table-

General Chloe:"I would have much preferred if you assisted Chris here..." -She growls growing frustrated-

Adder:"He'll be here..., don't worry about it" -I casually reply-

-The General looks left shaking her head in disbelief-

*Thud, thud, thud, thud*

Chris:"I'm here!, I'm here!" -The human bresthlessly pants leaning against the door-

-He wore his black outfit with the gasmask hanging from his belt-

General Chloe:"Ah Chris..., I'm sure it wasn't too hard to find this place?" -The General asks placing her hands behind her back-

Adder:"Told you he would find it" -I roll my eyes-

-A small annoyed growl came from the General-

Chris:"Yeah.., fine..., just got lost like..., three or four times..., I think" -He rubs the back of his neck-

-I see him look over at me, shooting a dirty glare right back at him-

"Little bitch...."

General Chloe:"*Sigh*, anyways..., your briefing will always take place in this room from now on...."
