The L Word

*Angelina's POV*

After I graduated from Hogwarts I took a good hard look at my life and realized I wasn't making the right choices.

Everything I had done had pushed everyone I had ever loved away. I had no best friend, no boyfriend, no friends at all really. I couldn't keep blaming this on everyone else. This was my fault. I isolated the people who cared for me.

So I decided to change my life.

First I made a new friend, Danielle. She was a better friend than Sin ever was. She treated me like an equal, she let me shine, she didn't take attention from me. It was probably the healthiest friendship I'd ever had. I was starting to realize in order to have the life I wanted, I had to surround myself with the right people.

Then Bruce Granthum seemed to appear out of thin air. He was the best thing that had ever happened to me. I was a little skeptical that things could work between us. It took a lot of convincing on his part that we could make it work. That us finding each other was absolute destiny and we were meant to be. It's hard to argue with that.

We started our planning immediately. We wanted it to be perfect, but we also wanted it to be quick. We found out almost immediately that this wasn't something we could rush. We deserved for this to go exactly the way we wanted it to. I trusted Bruce with my whole life. I knew he would never let me down.

Never did I think I would be face to face with Sinthia so soon. I hoped she could tell that I really had changed and I was no longer that girl she used to know. Ruining her life no longer interested me. My own life was so much more intriguing and I had so much to look forward to.

I was finally going to wear a wedding dress and marry the man of my dreams.

And for once, nothing could come in the way of that and no one was going to ruin my plans.

*Vice's POV*

I was thrilled that I finally got to meet the Angelina Johnson. I had heard the stories. The jealousy, the lying, the scheming. Angelina's reputation precedes her in our friend group and now I actually get to meet her. She doesn't seem like an angry loon at all.

She reached out and hugged Sin tightly. "You look amazing, Sin! Oh it's so nice to see you! What are you doing here?"

"Um, wedding dress shopping." Sin said.

"Wait, you and Fred aren't married yet? I thought you two would be pregnant by now or something."

"Well, we've just been so busy with the shop and everything, but we're finally buckling down and doing it."

"That's really good for you two." Angelina smiled. "Who are your friends?"

"Oh sorry," Sin forced a laugh. "That's Megan, she's getting married too. That's Annie, we work together. And this is my Maid of Honor Vice."

"Oh." Angelina looked me up and down. "A lovely replacement for me. How do you two know each other?"

"Work." I answered. "I'm also dating George. We live together."

Angelina's jaw dropped. "George has a serious girlfriend? I never thought I'd see the day! He's actually over you, Sinthia?"

"Yeah, Ang, he is. He's totally in love with Vice." Sin insisted.

"Wow, you must be something real special, Vice. I didn't think George was ever going to let go of his crush on Sin, to be honest. Still, I'd be a little careful. Sin's pull is quite powerful."

"So I hear. If I feel George slipping away maybe I'll get pregnant." I smiled.

Angelina raised her eyebrows before turning to Sin. "I really like her! Your choice in best friends has always been great."
