I can appreciate
A marching band
They make such lovely music
The harmony
Of all the band members
The effort and hardwork
To make a performance go off
Without a hitch
I have to appreciate them
Admire their talent
But it doesn't stop me from not enjoying live performances
All those years
Being dragged to stupid parades
And having to sit through
Multiple marching bands
And screeching firetrucks
Forgive me
If I don't want to go
Sit on some cold metal bleachers
Or join you to watch a parade
Because you want to see a marching band
I'd rather listen to the replay
Than deal with it live
