I feel as though
Anyone who comes to visit me
Are visiting
A zoo
They are only passing by
To be entertained
And have fun
But don't even realise
How desperate I am
To leave
To get out of this cage
I'm pacing
And pacing
With nothing to do
I watch them
Hoping maybe they'll understand
But they only smile and stay with me for a very short while
Don't get me wrong
I love a trip to the zoo
But I see them
And think of me
We both just want to be free
Yet here we are
Pacing and pacing
With nothing to do
And nowhere to go
