Spinning around
And around
And around
My arms outstretched
My head held high
Stretched out to face the sky
I laugh
And laugh
My dog barks
And chases me around
Until I'm too dizzy to stand
I fall to the ground
And I lie down on the grass
Making shapes out of the clouds
I bring the bubble wand
To my lips
Letting the wind
Do most of the work
I watch the bubbles float away
Just like dandelion seeds
After making a wish
I pretend
With every bubble
That floats away
And eventually explodes
That each bubble
Is a wish
That I make
And when it explodes
It'll come true
My one wish
Repeated over and over
For every bubble that pops
Is for you
To be lying here
Right next to me
