-Same day-
4:34 p.m.

As Jean held you in his arms, the feeling of pain started to increase even more. You were hoping that Mikasa would be expelled for this since it happened on school grounds, but you quickly realized that if she went down, you were going with her.

You agreed to the situation which wasn't going to help your case. Hopefully the principal won't find out about this and you can keep your clean record.

Jean finally reached the entrance of the school and took you to the nurses office. Since it was the end of the day the nurse was starting to pack her things to go home, but immediately set her things down when she saw your condition. Jean lied your body down on the patients bed and the nurse began examining you.

After what felt like hours, she finally spoke up saying that your condition wasn't too bad and she would just have to clean up your wounds.

Every once and a while you winced from the pain of the alcohol touching your burning marks. In the back of your mind you wondered if you were being a little dramatic since your condition really wasn't that bad, but you didn't have enough energy to really care.

Just as the nurse was about to finish, she ran out of bandaids to put on your cuts.

"It looks like I'll have to run to the store real quick, I'll be back in a few." She said as she started to gather her purse and jacket.

"Please don't bother, I'm fine." You said as you started to get up to leave, but the nurse gently nudged you back towards the bed. You saw Jean get up slightly out of his chair to try and do the same thing, but the nurse beat him to it.

"No no dear it's not a bother, I pretty much get paid to sit around all day waiting for someone to get hurt, I'm not gonna pass up the chance to actually do my job." She said with a light chuckle. You as well smiled at her and lied back down.

"I'll be back in about 10 minutes." Was all she said while she shut the door, leaving you and Jean in a slightly uncomfortable atmosphere.

You didn't dare look at him as you could somewhat sense that he wasn't ecstatic about the whole situation. He sat in the chair beside the bed with his elbows on his knees and his face resting in the palms of his hands. He just looked straight at the door, trying to gather his thoughts.

Minutes we're passing by and you were just hoping that the nurse would walk in at any second so that you could just go home and take a fat nap. Neither you or Jean decided to break the silence. He must've heard you sigh every once in a while, but he still hadn't made a noise. It was scaring you to be honest. You don't think you've ever heard such silence from him.

All of a sudden you heard him shift in his seat. He had leaned back into the chair and spread his legs out. A sigh was omitted from his mouth as he got comfortable and you watched him do so, but he still hasn't spared you a glance. You didn't know what you preferred more, for him to not look at you, or look at you. You started to realize it was better if he didn't because even though he wasn't looking at you, he had his eyebrows furrowed and a frown resting on his lips.

He ran his fingers through his hair and opened his mouth to speak after not talking the whole time he was in this confined room with you.
