Iris pov

The sound of my brother yelling woke me up. I was used to this, seeing as he streamed on Twitch with his friends. I glanced out the window to see a flash of lightning, which was followed by a rumble of thunder. The sky seemed to split open as rain began to pour down. Another screech from my brother could be heard, and I rolled my eyes, getting out of bed.

"You dickhead! Why did you take my diamonds?" His yelling became more clear as I neared my door, and a few seconds after I opened it, I heard a loud screech. I checked Twitch to see if he was streaming. He wasn't, which was surprising.

Slowly, I climbed the stairs to Tubbo's room and opened the door as quietly as possible. I sat down on the floor, leaning against the wall, and began to watch him play Minecraft. He wasn't on the Dream SMP, just fooling around with Tommy and Wilbur on a new world. I watched as Tubbo gasped, finding another patch of diamonds.

"Yes! Now I can make full diamond armor before either of you!" I smiled at his excitement.

"Actually..." Wilbur's character appeared on Tubbo's screen, wearing a full set of diamond armor and wielding a diamond sword.

"How'd you get that?" Tubbo exclaimed, shocked.

"He made it, how else do you think he got the armor, bee boy?" Tommy replied sarcastically.

"Shut up Tommy," Tubbo muttered.

"How dare you?" Tommy gasped dramatically, "You know, I could just steal all of your stuff, right now. Including Swimmy."

"You wouldn't dare touch my axolotl!"

"Watch me, bitch." A screech was heard from Tubbo, most likely because Tommy had killed his pet.

"Oh come on, Tommy, don't you think that was a little too far?" I asked, standing up to move behind Tubbo's chair.

"When'd you get here?" he asked, spinning around to face me.

"When you said that you'd be able to make diamond armor."

I grabbed a chair from next to his desk and sat down next to him. After watching the three bicker for a bit, I pulled out my phone and began to scroll through Tiktok.

~ Time skip to an hour later ~

"Would you guys want to go out for lunch sometime? I know a beach near my place that we could go to, I think it'd be fun to do a bit of swimming, don't you? Especially since the weather's s'posed to clear up in a few days." I grinned at Wilbur's offer.

"I'd like to go, as long as it's okay with Tubbo, of course," I replied, turning to my brother. Even though he was only a year older than me, I still looked to him for advice.

"Yeah, just text me the time and day," Tubbo agreed.

"I might be able to go, I'll ask my mum, one sec," Tommy said before muting himself on Discord.

"Great! I'd love to meet you, Tubbo, and I'd love to meet Iris as well," Wilbur said happily. "I'm afraid I have to go now, someone at the office is calling me. Bye." Wilbur hung up from the call, just as Tommy came back on.

"My mum said that I have to go to a stupid family reunion over the next few weeks," he grumbled. "Apparently we leave next week."

"Aw, I'm sorry big man, we'll miss you," Tubbo said.

"I have to go, bye guys," Tommy told us, sounding upset that he couldn't go to the beach with us.

"Bye!" Tubbo and I said in unison.

Tubbo ended the call, then got up and stretched. "Did I wake you up again today?" he asked.

"No," I lied.

We continued to chat for a while until the door opened and our mother walked in. "I've been calling you two for the past minute and a half," she told us. "Now come downstairs! Someone is here for you two." Tubbo and I looked at each other, confused, while our mum left the room.
