~ Time skip to a few weeks later ~
"You're speaking with Ranboo."
"No! I refuse."
"But why?" Tubbo whined, dragging out the y.
"Yesterday, he had said he had to mow his lawn, the day before, he said he had to wash the dishes, Friday, he said he had to take out the trash, and last week, he said he had to start his stream. The list of excuses he's made every time you tell me to talk to him goes on," I told him. "So no, I don't think I'll be talking to him."
"You'll meet him when he gets here, and when he's here, he won't be able to make up stupid excuses!" Unmuting his mic, he added, "Ranboo, she doesn't want to talk to you. I'm sorry."
"That's fine," I heard Ranboo say. Rolling my eyes, I left the room, and went to the kitchen, where Mum was preparing dinner.
"Hey Mum, I'm going out with Lewis again today, love you," I said as I grabbed my bag and left.
The walk to his house wasn't far, it was only about ten minutes. I knocked on his door, running my fingers nervously through my hair. I didn't really have anxiety, except for the incident a few weeks ago, and a few more times when I was younger.
"Hello?" A middle-aged women answered the door, a confused look on her face.
"Hello, I'm here to see Lewis," I explained.
"He's with his girlfriend right now, they're star gazing on the roof. Teenage love... I remember when I first started dating... oh, well never mind that, dear, who might you be?" My heart dropped.
"Oh, um... I-I think I have the wrong Lewis, I think I mixed up the names and addresses, whoops, uh— I think I was meant to visit my friend Lucas, yes that's right, my mum wanted to invite him for dinner, sorry to bother you," I rambled, trying to find an excuse to leave. "Have a good night."
"You as well dear," she said, but I had started to walk away already.
Once I reached the end of the street and rounded the corner, I let out a quiet sob. "Fuck him," I muttered. Tears flooded my eyes. Why did I ever trust him? He was my boyfriend, or so he said he was, and I believed him. Now he's dating another girl. I made it about halfway home before breaking down in tears. I reached into my pocket for my phone and, through my tears, I found Tubbo's contact and called him.

"One sec Ranboo, my sister is calling," I told him.
"Tell Lani I said hi," he told me, still not knowing that Iris was one of my other sisters.
I muted on discord, then answered the phone.
"Tu-Tubbo," Iris sobbed through the phone.
"What's wrong? Where are you?" I asked, fear rushing through me. Was she hurt? Who hurt her?
"Ca-can you p-pick me up please," she sobbed.
"Yeah, I'll be right there," I promised. "Do you want me to stay on call with you?"
"No thanks," she replied, and hung up.
I checked her location, then messaged Ranboo that I had to leave due to an emergency. I rushed down the stairs, ran outside, and hopped in Mum's car, not bothering to ask her if I could use it.

It was happening again. I was shaking slightly and my heart was beating fast. My throat felt like it was tightening again. Hurry Tubbo. Less than a minute after I hung up, I heard a car pull up and a door open.
"Iris! Are you okay?" Tubbo asked, concern and fear filling his eyes. I shook my head, and he helped me into the passenger seat.
"We'll be home in a bit, okay?" he told me. I nodded, my sight still blurry from crying.
We arrived at the house, and Tubbo helped me inside. "Mum! Help, it's Iris!" he called, but there was no response. "Shit, she went for a walk with Lani a while ago."
"Okay, Iris, can you follow my breathing?" he asked. Tubbo took a deep, shaky breath in, and I copied him. My breathing wasn't as awful as last time, because it hadn't gotten to the point where I was gasping for air yet.
After a few minutes I was breathing normally again, and I hugged Tubbo. "Thank you," I mumbled. He smiled, though he still looked scared.
"Of course," Tubbo replied. "Want to tell me what happened?" I nodded, then began to explain the story to him.
"I will fucking kill him," Tubbo said.
"Tubbo, don't do that, please," I told him. "I don't want you going to jail."
"I won't, I promise," he assured me, giving me a tight hug. "Do you wanna watch me play Minecraft?" I nodded, wiping my tears away.
~ Don't worry, Ranboo isn't trying to be rude, you'll find out why he keeps making excuses later :]
~ Remember to drink water and have a good day :]
