Tw: panic attack, arguing/yelling
Iris pov
When I woke up, I was laying on the couch with a blanket over me. I yawned, and upon remembering yesterday I smiled.
Sitting up, I looked around and saw Ranboo asleep on the floor a few feet away from the couch. I smiled and admired how peaceful he looked before noticing that I was staring and, embarrassed, quickly looked away. Bored, I began to scroll through Twitter.
Ranboo woke up a few minutes later and got up to sit next to me. I tried to suppress a smile when the boy leaned his head on my shoulder, presumably not fully awake yet. He yawned, causing me to yawn a few moments later.
The two of us ended up watching Boy Meets World, which it seemed Ranboo had gotten pretty interested in after I forced him to watch it last time. We got through four episodes before Tubbo entered the room.

I watched as Tubbo pulled out his phone and 'stealthily' took a picture of me and Iris before actually stepping into the room. I turned my attention back to the show, making a mental note to ask for that picture, as he sat down on Iris' other side.
We watched a few more episodes until Tubbo told us we should eat something. "Why," I whined, dragging out the 'y'. "I don't wanna get up."
Iris suppressed a laugh as Tubbo rolled his eyes and grabbed my arm, pulling me up. I jokingly let my shoulders slump forward, and when Tubbo told us that his and Iris' mother made pancakes, I straightened my posture and ran to the kitchen.

Iris giggled as she watched Ranboo run into the kitchen after hearing that there were pancakes. She got up and followed him.
The two grabbed a stack of three pancakes each before sitting down at the table; Tubbo was already sitting down with his food. The three teens quickly finished their food in silence before heading back to the living room.

Tubbo had left after lunch to meet up with Tommy for a vlog, leaving Iris and Ranboo to hang out at the house all day.
Their day was very uneventful; it consisted of them playing card games and watching tv. Eventually, Iris got hungry, so she ordered a pizza for the two of them to share.
After they ate dinner, Ranboo and Iris decided to watch a movie before Iris retreated to her room to get ready for bed. She fell asleep after a while, mentally replaying the events from yesterday.

Tw start
I woke up to the sound of my parents shouting angrily at each other, followed by the sound of a glass breaking. I sat up shakily, breathing heavily. A loud slam could be heard from the kitchen - my dad probably slammed his hands down in frustration.
Carefully, I got out of bed and crept to my door, flinching when I heard another slam. Opening the door as quietly as I could, I headed to the stairs, but upon remembering that Tubbo wasn't here, I changed direction and headed towards the streaming room.

The yelling was louder now that Iris wasn't in her room. She crept down the hall, pausing at the doorway to the streaming room. Taking a deep breath, she hesitated before stepping inside and shutting the door behind her.
Through the dim lighting, she could see Ranboo asleep on the floor, his blanket wrapped around him. The short brunette quietly walked over to the sleeping boy and knelt down beside him, trying to calm down a bit.
Then Iris stopped for a moment, feeling guilty. She felt like it would be wrong to wake him up over something so stupid as her parents fighting.
But she pushed that thought away and gently shook Ranboo awake.
He woke up, but his eyes felt too heavy with exhaustion to open them. However, upon hearing Iris' panicked breathing, his eyes flew open and he sat up.
"What's wrong?" Ranboo asked the trembling girl, his voice full of concern. A loud shout from the kitchen quickly answered his question.
The tall brunette moved so that he was sitting with his back against the couch, and he waved his hand, motioning for Iris to go over to him. She obeyed, crawling over to sit beside him.
Ranboo gently wrapped his arms around the smaller girl and pulled her into his lap before asking, "is this okay?" Iris nodded, sniffling slightly. "Alright um... try to copy my breathing," the boy told her, holding her closer to him. This feels too familiar, he thought sadly, remembering the first night he had arrived at the house, which was nearly two months ago now.
Iris leaned her head against Ranboo's shoulder, flinching when she heard another loud shout from the kitchen, and tried to focus on her friend. Ranboo took slow breaths, hoping Iris would copy him. After a few moments, her breathing was back to normal, though she was still shaking.
A few more loud shouts could be heard, then the slam of the front door silenced them. A deadly silence surrounded the two teens. Iris started shaking more, scared that one of her parents wouldn't be coming back.
As if Ranboo could see Iris' fear, he whispered, "It'll be alright. I'm sure one is just taking a break from the other, maybe for a day at most."
The trembling girl calmed down after a few moments of trying to steady her breathing, and when Ranboo heard a yawn, he realized how early in the morning it was.
"You should try to get some rest," he told her.
Iris got up and trudged over to the door, putting her hand on the doorknob, and hesitated. Ranboo, realizing that she wasn't going to get any sleep if she went back to her room, immediately said, "You can sleep in here if you want."
Letting out a sigh of relief, Iris walked back over to Ranboo, who was setting up the blankets on the floor. The tall boy motioned for Iris to lay down, and once she did, he lay a blanket over her. Laying down beside her, Ranboo pulled a blanket over himself. The two stayed up and talked for a while before sleep washed over them.
