tw: anxiety attack (I will put when the tw starts and ends for every chapter)
Iris pov
"Well we better hurry, it's 10 already!" Niki said, then led me to my room. She shut the door behind her. "So, are you two dating?"
I nodded, and Niki silently cheered.

"Bye Niki, thanks for dropping me off," I said, waving to her as she drove away.
Where is he? I should text him. But texting him would make me seem impatient. I don't see him anywhere. Maybe he's running a bit late. I should just wait until I see him.
I looked around, waiting for Lewis to get here. A minute passed. Maybe he forgot something at home. Two minutes passed. I should sit down at a bench. Five minutes passed. No sign of Lewis still. Ten minutes passed. Crap. I forgot my phone. Half an hour has gone by now. Lewis still wasn't here. An hour has passed. Nothing is worse than the feeling of waiting for something that might not even happen. Two hours now. Checking my watch every two minutes was not making the time go by faster. Another half an hour. Rain started to sprinkle down from the sky. Three hours. I don't think he's gonna show up. Tears started to fall from my eyes as the rain got heavier.
I'm going home, even though the walk is like 20 minutes. Getting off the bench, I wiped the tears from my eyes, then started the walk home.

Fully drenched, I stood at the door, and wiped my eyes one last time to rid them of tears. Taking a shaky breath, I knocked on the door. No answer. I rang the doorbell. Still no answer. Where the hell did they go? I looked in the driveway, but saw no cars.
I reached into my pocket to grab my phone, but realized it wasn't there. Fighting back more tears, I walked around the house and into the back yard. I sat down against the base of a tree, letting my tears fall. My silent sobs grew louder, and I started shaking. My heart was beating very quickly, and my throat felt like it was tightening. I tried gasping for air, which didn't really work, but I got some air into my lungs at least.
I wasn't sure how long I sat there, struggling through my anxiety attack, but eventually I heard the familiar voice of my brother.
"Iris, can you hear me? If you can hear me, nod," Tubbo said. I could hear him unsuccessfully trying to keep the panic out of his voice. I slowly nodded, still taking large breaths as I tried to get more air into my lungs. "Mum help, I don't know what to do," Tubbo sobbed as he watched me struggling.
"Iris, I need you to take a deep breath for me, okay?" Mum told me. Her voice was stern but gentle at the same time. "Follow my breathing," she said, then took a slow, deep breath in. I tried to follow along, and eventually got the hang of it after a few tries.
After a bit of deep breathing, the tightness in my throat vanished. "Thanks Mum," I whispered. She smiled at me, then turned to my brother.
"Tubbo, can you help your sister inside? Maybe she could watch while you stream," Mum said to him. Tubbo nodded.
"Alright, come on," Tubbo said, holding out a shaky hand. I grabbed it, and he wrapped an arm around my back to support me after I stood up. With his help, I stumbled inside and upstairs, then collapsed on his bed.
"Thank you," I said, "that was really scary."
"Of course," Tubbo replied, turning to smile at me before going back to setting up Minecraft.

~ Time skip to the next day ~
Today I woke up to yet another rainy day. I groaned as I rolled out of my bed, then stumbled to the kitchen. Grabbing a box of cereal from the cupboard, I stared at it, debating whether or not I was hungry. Sighing, I put it back.
"You didn't eat again?" Tubbo asked as he reached the last step, then walked over to me.
"It's not that I don't want to eat, I'm just not hungry right now," I explained.
"I'm glad that you're at least having two meals a day," he said, then went into the fridge to look for more food. "Watermelon?"
I smiled at the offer. "Sure, I'll have a little," I agreed.
Though I wasn't hungry, we shared the leftover slices of watermelon; Lani had brought it home after her sleepover the other day.
"Are you feeling okay? You know, after yesterday?" he asked warily, as if scared that he would trigger another panic attack.
"Yeah, much better, thank you again Tubbo."
"Anything for my little sister," he replied.
"Even after you chased me around the house with nerf guns for the past 16 and a half years of my life?" I asked jokingly.
"That's just called sibling rivalry," Tubbo replied, shrugging.
~ A little drama for you guys :]
