The Last Year of School - A Thomesa Fanfiction

Back to school

I hate Mondays, am I the only one. I slowly drag my self out of bed and check my phone for the time. I shower, brush my hair, brush my teeth and head downstairs where my brother is sipping coffee.
"Morning"
"Morning, what's for breakfast"
He hands me a plate full of food.
"Where were you yesterday"
"Out"
"Okay, I'm not gonna ask anything else"
"Wow, that's the first"
"Whatever, I'm gonna be late home today, so I left some food in the fridge for you"
"Okay"
I finish breakfast and head outside where Sonya and Harriet are waiting.
"Morning" as I get into the car
"Morning, I hear you've been hanging out with Thomas lately"
"Yeah and"
"And apparently you couldn't stop staring at him body"
I open my mouth in shock.
"Whaaaaattt, no I didn't"
"Yeah you did, don't deny it, Newt told me"
"How does Newt know"
"Thomas told him"
"Dam it"
"You like him don't you, just admit you do"
I blush
"A bit"
"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god" she's having a mental breakdown
"Calm down"
"No I won't, until you 2 are together, your perfect for each other"
"Just calm down"
"Yeah Sonya calm down" Harriet pulls over in the school parking lot.
"No" she pouts like a little girl
Then Newt comes up to her and kisses her.
"Get a room"
They haven't heard me because they're still kissing.
"You guys done"
They stop but end up in a tight embrace instead.
"Ahem" Thomas is behind them. And they break apart.
"Hey"
"Hey"
They're in their own bubble so we leave them to it. The bell rings for the first lesson, maths. One of the few lessons I don't have with Thomas. And I immediately miss him. Maths is one of my favorite lessons, yes I am a nerd. The main reason is I understand maths like no other subject. But mainly because my Mum taught me nearly all you need to know about maths when I was like 7. I feel closer to my Mum when I'm in Maths, not exactly the best connection but still.

My brain hurts, I've done too much work. I just want to go home and crawl into bed and hibernate for a year. Exam and revision doesn't help with my stress levels at all. Harriet drops me off at home since Sonya and Newt went somewhere together. I go up to my room and just lay down on my bed. Just lay there for like an hour before I pick up my books.

I'm in the middle of revising for my Geography mock when I get a text from Thomas.
Thomas - Hey, revising
Me - Trying to, can't get anything to sink in
Thomas - I know that feeling
Me - Aren't you revising as well
Thomas - Naa, Cba. I'll revise for the proper exam, but if you need any help I can come round and quiz you if you want.
Me - Sure that would be helpful actually, just come straight in my brother went out.
Thomas - Kk

I accidentally drop my book onto my face, this is so hard. I make no move to remove it and just lay there miserably.
"Wow I see what you mean"
I sit straight up knocking my book to the floor.
"Sorry you scared me"
He smiles and I melt like, I do every time.
"So what do you need help with"
"Everything, or you can just do the exam for me"
"I wish I could, but sadly I can't" he smiles mockily at me
"I know, just quiz me then"
He quizzes me for about an hour and it finally sinks in.
"Thanks, I was on the edge to an existential crisis"
"You really need a life, you watch you tubers as well"
"Well I think you need to get one as well since you know what I'm talking about"
He laughs and I know I've got him there.
"Anyway. I think this has helped me as well"
"Good to know"
I look at the time.
"I should properly get going" as if he was reading my mind "It's getting late"
"Okay, see you tomorrow"
"Bye"
"Bye"
I look at him sadly as he walks out. I don't want him to leave, I want him to stay here with me. Because I don't think I ever felt so happy as I have around Thomas. I want him to be at my side. Forever.
