The carriage rolled into a rural village near the outskirts of the central kingdom, the first thing America witnessed was a crowd of villagers protesting, shouting and arguing. It was an absolute mess. The king stood in front of the crowd surrounded by palace guards so that the villagers couldn't get violent.
"Your majesty you have to do something about the kidnappings!"
"Don't ignore us! Aren't we your people?"
"If you won't help us then get off that throne."
The king didn't even have a slight reaction to these statements, he noticed the glamorous carriage roll in. His expression shifted to a chilling smile as America got out with an impassive gaze.
The villagers immediately quieted down when they saw him, their voices reduced to a whisper.
America walked closer to the crowd with his ability activated, his arm morphed into a menacing looking gun, this gun was what he liked to call a shotgun. It's simply for crowd control, less of his blood wasted with one bullet fire.
Sure enough the crowd was silent now, finally the king cleared his throat.
"Villagers, concerning your kidnapping matter, there is nothing to worry about, we are currently investigating. There is no need to riot because we promise we'll catch this person red handed and make sure they get executed. This is to serve justice to all the lives they have taken from this village."
Although the crowd didn't say anything, no one bought it. The king has given them this type of speech for ages and yet the criminal still hasn't been caught.
They couldn't say anything in argument though because of the young man next to the king. The human weapon of the military to be exact.
A man from the crowd couldn't take it and charged at them with a sword in hand. America swooped in and shot him through the chest before the sword could reach its target.
Blood splattered onto the surrounding villagers as they screamed in horror, they dropped to the ground kneeling in fright to show that they wouldn't try anything.
They could feel the prince looming his gun over their heads causing them to shiver in fright.
"Hey! Don't threaten the villagers, leave us alone!" A young villager shouted as they activated their ability. When America locked gazes with them he felt a shiver down his spine.
Too similar.
Too much like him. His gaze, it's so much like Russia's.
The prince leaped over and slammed the villager onto the ground. America kneeled on his back and clutched the villager's arm tightly with an ability suppressing handcuff in hand.
"Ack!" They shouted in pain and writhed around under him trying to free themselves.
"Any more people who would like to protest?" America finally spoke after acting like a mindless puppet this entire time. The silence was deafening.
The crowd scattered after awhile, they decided to stand down for now to ensure everyone's safety. No one wanted to end up dead, this village was a close knit village, everyone knew everyone and so they treated everyone like family.
"I will clean up," America offered to the king while still holding down someone under him.
The king believed in America's capabilities so he nodded then left in his carriage back to the palace. But before he left he made sure to tell America, "we'll be visiting Britannia soon, you're coming along."
