One by one each of them entered the hall, the broken shards of glass would crunch under their feet. China was the first to arrive in the empty room, the crater where Germany smashed into was now empty with only a few piles of rubble left.

With the sweep of his dress he took a seat on one of the broken pillars on the floor. He couldn't help but crack his neck and let out an exasperated sigh, "I need a drink after this."

The moon was especially lovely today, it was just too bad China couldn't stare at it through the shattered window for too long.

'Ugh stupid memories,' he massaged the bridge of his nose as repressed memories wormed their way back into his head. They were fleeting memories like wisps of paper slowly engulfing in flames, filled with burnt holes and unanswered questions.

Bright golden pupils snapped towards the sounds of a door clicking open, a figure stepped in the room and nonchalantly sat next to China. The crunching of glass as they walked made the Chinese man's head throb.

"What's up with you?"

"...the dress is asphyxiating me and now my head hurts from lack of air."

Not only that but his back felt exposed, the wind nipped his skin. It felt unbearably cold.

North couldn't help but shake his head in disdain noticing the amounts of rips and tears in the dress at this point. There was quite a large one on China's back that revealed his old scars.

A loud sigh could be heard as he untied his waist sash and handed over his outer garment.

Suspicion flooded China's mind but he was convinced the moment he saw North refusing to look at him. It seems he was still unwilling to drop the tough guy act. The Chinese man gingerly picked up the black outer garment and wrapped it around himself, a wave of relief washed over him and soothed his aching headache.

His hands clutched the garment tighter around his shoulders as his breath steadied out. It was fairly tiresome to live with such an repulsion towards revealing skin but as the passage of time flows by, the more you get used to it. At least that's how it was like for China.

But that also doesn't mean the aversion faded away one bit.

From a distance, senseless bickering could be heard and it was closing in quickly. The doors burst open causing the two of them to flinch slightly, "I won! Suck it," Russia grinned in triumph.

"By one headcount!"

"Still won though, a deal is a deal is it not?"

"What the hell are you guys blabbering on about?" North snapped as his eyebrows creased in annoyance. "We made a bet on who could kill more people," it was clear in the princes eyes that he didn't feel one bit of sorrow.

Times like these remind North that they aren't the good guys and probably will never be.

Shortly after, Japan and South entered the room to witness the senseless bickering of the prince and guard duo.

"Well whatever, now that we're all here, let's get back before dawn breaks." Russia rolled his eyes as he extended his pair of azure wings.

"Oh China, will you carry me back? I'm tired of walking, now that you're here we can fly bac-" the samurai's words were interrupted by North hitting the back of his head, to the point his mask almost slipped off. "The hell was that for?"
