Once daylight broke and rays of warm sunshine peeked through the curtains, that was when their first day of mischief began. America's eyelashes fluttered open followed by the sounds of rustling bedsheets.

This was the first time he woke up to an unfamiliar ceiling, the last time this happened was his first day in the dorms. That was a very long time ago...

It felt, refreshing, not being woken up by South's blaring alarms first thing in the morning. Even during his time in the palace, America had to abide by a very specific schedule. Sleeping in was simply not an option.

At least now he could choose when to do so and not to.

Distant chirps of birds soared through the sky as he took in a deep breath, chest heaving in an orderly fashion like a metronome. As much as he wanted to bathe in the peace, he can't stay here forever. Eventually, he managed to kick off the sheets and make his way towards the main lounge.

There on the couch he saw Germany flipping through the pages of her book in no rush with Poland peering over her shoulder. White concave wings fluffed up as she chattered about her honest opinions on each line in contrast to Germany who always kept silent.

"早上好, (good morning,)" a voice spoke from behind the prince. When America turned around, he saw China, the morning influence was still strong. His hair not styled in any particular way, he just let it cascade down his back and shoulders. Not only that but for once he was wearing looser clothing with shorter sleeves.

America felt like he'd never seen China so relaxed, but by the look on China's face, it seems he had never seen America look so relaxed either.

Even without telling each other, they could feel that they were pretty similar, or at least their upbringings were.

Their moment of silence was broken by incessant knocks on the window, it was North. Once Germany got up and opened the window, he tumbled into the room, splayed on the hardwood floor. "What's wrong eyepatch? Why were you outside?" China squatted down next to the seemingly paralyzed body laying on the ground.

"C-cold," North managed a word out of his chattering teeth. Soon after, China also felt a chill run down his back, he hurriedly closed the window so no more piercing winds could fill up the room.

The temperature change last night wasn't too bad for normal humans but it made sense why dragons would find it harder to bear.

The cold airs reminded America of their next course of action, he rushed into the office without another word. His map had been nicely rolled up into a scroll, presumably by Germany, he recognized this habit of hers.

Stokes of ideas always came at random to the American, perhaps it was his refreshed mind or the homely scent of books or the frost climbing up the windows, anything could get his gears going.

The tea he didn't finish last night had gone cold on his desk, but he still sipped it without care. Finally he had figured out a route and a date of attack, not to mention, their first large scale operation.

Morning were really something huh, fresh mind, fresh ideas.

Asia it is.

That was their next destination, America had to keep into account the weather and circumstances surrounding the plan, it should be okay as long as nothing goes south. With one circular motion, he circled the Asia palace, more accurately, tower.

However there can only be 5 winners and America didn't doubt there would be strong people joining. Fine, he decided to just have 2 people join. The rest, well, he had a task for them while they waited outside the tower.
