Tw : Self harm

"One... one bed?" Japan spluttered, after his initial shock morphed into suspicion, he asked, "Why didn't you tell us this BEFORE we bought the rooms? Are there no laws against withholding information from customers?"

Japan glared at the man behind the counter, the worker felt like he was being suddenly interrogated, "So what? Not like the guards care. I gotta get those sales up somehow, besides the rooms can fit two people it's just supposed to be designed for one, hence why it only has one bed mr self righteous." He chuckled at the last part.
The man continued, "It's not like you'll die anyway, besides, other hotels are fully booked so this is the best offer you got."

Russia was worried for a different reason compared to Japan. As serious as Japan was, he was concerned they had gotten ripped off. While Russia on the other hand had a very dreadful feeling whirling around his stomach.

His suspicious were confirmed as soon as America bumped his hip against the Russian's to get his attention. "Let's share a room," he grinned.

"No," Russia shut the idea down quicker than his brain could think. He almost reconsidered his answer when he saw the pout on the prince's face, "Why not? Cmon it's just like our academy days, what's the big deal?"

"More than a year of sharing the same room with you is enough," Russia turned to China, "Let's share a room."

The Chinese man shrugged, "Sure."

Japan immediately stopped arguing with the receptionist, he stomped over angrily, "NO! China you are with me! I don't want to share a room with him," the Japanese man pointed at America accusingly.

The prince stuck his tongue out, "What's wrong with sharing rooms with me? I'll have you know plenty of people would pay to sleep with me."
"Did you really have to make it sound sexual?" China sighed and placed his palm on his forehead in exasperation. America smirked and raised a brow, "It wasn't my intention but it can go either way if you want."

It was like a tug of war unleashed in the lobby of the hotel as China was manhandled by the two guys who equally wanted to avoid sleeping in the same room as the prince.

"Oh c'mon guys, just one night isn't gonna kill you, you guys seriously don't have to fight for China," Poland's giggles tumbled out like a flood as China practically screamed for help in his golden eyes.

As much as Russia wanted to stay in the same room as America, he didn't know if he could handle it, especially if there was only a bed unlike when they had bunk beds. Granted... America did sleep in the same bed as him even back during their academy days, but South and North were usually on the opposite side. This time, they'd be completely alone, together, in a small room, and Russia refuses to admit the prospect of it being scary yet also exhilarating at the same time. Over his dead body.

"Look, the receptionist is glaring at us already, we should take this elsewhere." North yapped, shoving the two men up the marbled white stairs. The hallways were blanketed by beige carpets, and the muffled voices of the other guests leaked out the slits of their mahogany doors.

"Go play rock paper scissors, loser stays with the prince." North's eye glinted just as they paused in front of the rows of rooms that matched the number on their keys. America lifted his chin, arrogance emanated through his being, "Loser? I'm a winner's prize."

"Fine! Winner gets stuck with the prince."
The prince seemed more satisfied with that.
A hint of competitiveness glinted in Russia's eyes as they readied their hands. Rock, paper, scissors shoot!

Japan let out a noise of distress, "Fuck!" He groaned. "This is the one time I wanted to lose!" He cursed himself for picking paper. A wave of pride bloomed within Russia's heart, his competitive spirit couldn't be quenched so easily — not even potentially sharing a bed with his crush could do it.
