The Russian's tail shoved America to the side, he thought, if America isn't fit to fight seriously right now, then I'll do it for him.
The prince explicitly told them to let him fight the king for awhile and everyone else stay back, but Russia didn't care that this went against what he said. What the hell was he going to do when he couldn't even look the king in the eyes?
A sonic boom ripped through the air, causing the trees to shake and the floorboards to rattle. The sudden blast almost caused the opposing party to fly away, but he held on firm, heels of his shoes digging into the dirt.
Then a dozen of pink flashes zoomed past the king, each scrape ripped a part of his outfit, by the end of the wave his king robe had holes ripped through them like moth bites.
It seems that South and Japan had the same idea as Russia.
The Korean and Japanese man leaped off the tree they were hiding in to assist Russia. However, the rest muttered in disapproval under their breaths, unwilling to move a single inch from their spots and abiding by the original plan.
Originally Poland wanted to join in, but Germany stopped her before she could, she was not going to allow her to dive headfirst into danger like those fools.
After all, someone is only a ruler when they're feared. The easiest way to overcome this... is power.
Terrifying sounds of a sword slithering out of it's hilt made the king narrow his eyes, especially when he saw it oozing of a remnant dark curse. Thicker and denser than any curse, purple fog clouded the katana, almost like it was staring, upturned eyes as sharp as blades, yes, he could even see it.
'If America is in this, then the tall one over there...' he glanced over at the tallest figure of the bunch. His suspicions were confirmed once a blazing blue ball of flames engulfed Russia's entire palm.
The point of today was not to defeat him, rather it was for America to tell him that he was not going to answer his orders anymore. Revealing his identity had always been apart of the plan, thought it's not like he'd be able to hide it once they fought.
Once he knew, he'd also know that Russia is amongst the team members.
This dragon... simply the king hated him. Why else would his son who had always been obedient suddenly have a shift in personality? The king genuinely contemplated whether dragons evolved and gained a charm ability.
Japan wasted no time, sprinting forward with sword in hand, it clashed with the king's silver vambraces to create sparks flying in the air. How odd, normal silver shouldn't be able to withstand such a blade.
The silver was beautiful with detailed carvings all around it, probably decorative silver, yet it also had the properties of those used in armor.
Even after a flurry of cuts and slashes, all that blade did was a few dozen scratches.
South created another blast, this time after getting caught off guard by Japan, the king stumbled a few steps. An opening of opportunity! Pink petals bundled underneath the soles of his shoes to boost him upwards and he sliced downwards with all his might.
The king lifted his hand as if he was going to grab the katana head on, Japan scoffed, this'll definitely slice through. On the other hand, America's eyes widened.
In a flash, the prince shot a bullet straight at Japan. It precisely hit the blade of the weapon, Japan felt the katana fall out of his grasps, it slid to the base of the stage, a good enough distance out of reach.
